QRapp.com is happy to offer the first free AUTO-SCANNING QR code application. With QR app it couldn't be easier, launch QR app and the camera is already looking for barcodes to scan. That's it.. no more steps or buttons to push. Why settle for anything less? We love QR codes and use them everyday in our real lives. We were frustrated with those other apps that just don't work, so we decided to build the best QR app and share it with the world for FREE! We hope you enjoy using our little iPhone app.

This application does 1 thing, but it does it well. I've tested out 5 other QR apps and this by dar is the best. The only feature it's really missing is the ability to scan a QR code you already have in your camera roll. It would also be nice if it prompted you before launching a website or calling a number.

i'm new to QR code and trying several apps to read QR code in the past few hours. QR app is the best one -- it can read all kinds of code -- text, phone number, and link while some other apps can't read text. thank you for this awesome app! :)

I live in Japan where QR codes are used on almost everything. Japanese phones have been able to read them for some time. This app doesn't cut it at all. Not a single code could be read.

WHAT is the issue with these apps on the iPhone?! I've seen these kind of apps working far better on another smartphone (which I won't name). Is this problem a function of the iPhone's camera?

It automatically loads URLs in Safari, which is great if I know what the QR is. I might not want to auto-load unknown URLs though.

Far superior to other pay QR apps I've tried. This app works with all types of QR codes which is really nice. Take a pic of a SMS embeded code and it pulls up the SMS screen. GPS codes pull up google maps. Calendar codes pull up your calendar. URL codes immediately open the page on your browser... All around great app!

There is a slight delay from when the camera takes pic to bringing up info online. Not sure if this is limitation of 3G phone or my connection. However I was just up in Pittsburgh at the Mattress Factory who is using QR codes to offer visitors art info. Block5's new QR reader is quicker and superior to the one offered at the MF. Can't wait to see QR codes used more so that I can apply this app.

It reads and processes quickly compared to the other apps. It's simple, fast, and codes don't need to be shot perfectly to work which is important on the street. Good Job!

I happened to learned what QR code is just yesterday. The Quick Response code is just the ticket to bridge the real world with the digital. I learned it is most popular in Japan and confirmed it with a friend there. Then Matt, the man behind Block5 called me as he was one I spoke to on twitter yesterday about QR code. He is right her in my city! He told me of the wonders of possibilities. So I downloaded his app and have had much fun taking pics online. It takes a few attempts but so easy! And, I'm preparing for an overseas trip in a few weeks so I found a site that will let me create my own code! So now, I am playing with it to make it just right, the right balance between clarity and information. Thank you Matt for all you've done.
