What is this app actually meant to do? Tried it three or four times on two 3d codes and a couple of 2d barcodes with no results.

This app works perfect. The key to getting a successful read off of ANYTHING is to make sure the barcode you're scanning fills HALF of the read area.

Great Features Lets you make QR codes and save them to the SD card. Also tells you how many other people scanned the same code with QickMark, and what percentage visited the URL in the code(if applicable) Nice. Could use a few more tweaks, though.

so far none of scans worked out. even heineken was So far none of scanes worked out. Even heineken was not recognized. Tried 6 different bar codes.

Does not correctly handle phone numbers in VCARD format. Ignores CELL and puts main telephone number in both categories. Tried about 10 variations.

Droid X Forces close Take 3 scans, freeze, take 3 more, freeze. At bestybuy comparing products so scanning for future reference. Kept Force closing and shutting my phone off. Seems like it would be great if that didnt happen. Went back to QR Droid

A fantastic application that I have been using through several models of phones now and that has just gotten better over time!

Very Cool!! Works well and has lotsa options. Worth the download, doesn't take up much memory and its free. You can't ask for better than that.

Microsofts version came ad bloatwear and never worked once, thus one worked, congrats you did something right.

Great scanner with an adjustable size for the barcode. Makes it great for big and small bar codes as well as the different types of cameras on phones and tablets. Permissions are very acceptable and well laid out on the website before you download the app.

Had several scan apps, this is best and fastest. Sound is cute at first, then annoying, best to turn it off on settings. Excellent on HTC INCREDIBLE.

The feature that do work are great. But many do not simply work on my Droid with Sprint.

Where I live utilities send out bills with barcodes very similar to the interleaved 2-of-5 but this app seems to chop off the last few numbers...

I recently used this to help me map areas for stocktake in a large store. It behaved most of the time but force closed a lot which was annoying. Needs an option to avoid duplicate scans. Pretty good all up

Really nice touch is the ability to change the size of the area being scanned. Allows it to work with multiple phones and different size barcodes. As for the permissions they're very obvious and very acceptable. The reason for them is clearly outlined on the site before you download the app.

The only thing missing are Tag support and generation. And the business card generator could support more fields.

I don't know how this app is rated so well, I have had TERRIBLE luck getting it to scan QR codes. I can blow a QR code up HUGE on a stark white background and it will not be able to scan it most of the time. I use other apps (Google Goggles is great) and they scan right away.

This app stopped working (can't access the camera) after Asus upgraded my Transformer to ICS. It was great while it worked! Hopefully a patch will be coming soon...

Bad Permissions... I don't like that this app has access to my contacts and browser history and bookmarks. That's just too much access to give someone in hopes that they do no wrong and don't sell you and your contacts out to advertising or worse. And this garbage is always labelled as being for the convenience of the user, just so we don't have to go look up a contact to email to or copy and paste their address. It's really not that much more effort and at the sake of saving and having my privacy not be intruded upon, well I could easily do without this so called "convenience". Too many developers today turn their apps into spyware all for the sake of making a quick buck off of harvesting user data with permissions like these. Another striking point would be that I have other apps that don't require these invasive permissions, and I can just click a "share" button and go easily use one of my email programs. All done without the app "needing" to read my who my contacts are, possibly send them spam, and log information about my browsing habits on the web like this app does. I doubt you'd hear an uproar if you took away unneeded permissions. And that's what they are. Just because they have a stated purpose that is being used, well it doesn't mean you couldn't accomplish the same task without resorting to such a gray area of user privacy. I'll be gladly uninstalling this potential data miner. Do some research and learn your permissions people, and really look and see if an has to have them. This one doesn't... DROIDX

I love this app! Of all the barcode scanners I've tried on both Android and iOS this one is the most flexible and has plenty of options and supported data formats.

Scan a lawnmower hit search and bring up porn? What garbage...

Find the app difficult to understand and use

Works great on HTC Desire HD, but no good on TF101 On TF101 opens scan window but there's no image Otherwise I'd give 5 stars

I mostly use it for Work but this app is great.

App work well, but why do they need to read/alter the contacts on my phone or control my camera when I am not using the app? Uninstalled.

First barcode program I've been able to find that will read 1D barcodes very well. I love the ability to change the view area that the camera is scanning. Making it thin and wide helped tremendously with quicker recognition and correct reading of the barcodes.

Just like any other QR Reader except it has a stylish GUI design.

THE SOUND CAN BE DISABLED THROUGH SETTINGS WITHEN THE APP. Other than the sound, nothing wrong! So if you don't like the sound, stop crying about it and turn the sound off!!!!

Needs too many permissions. I don't like that it wants to mess with my contact data...

utterly tepid Testing 5 different bar scanners and this is the only one that returned the wrong book 7times in a row. also not quick. but accuracy was atrocious. installed.

Doesn't have a create url option listed in the app,which is what I am after.

Unable to get app to read any QR codes on my new Nexus. Used Google Goggles and that app worked great. Used to work on my OG Droid.

Low light performance and high code id success rate beat the last four free apps I have tried -including oem app. This works GREAT on my HTC Inspire!

Reads apps quicker than others apps I've tried on Galaxy S...occasionally lacking on searches, but otherwise excell3nt app.

I just wish it came with a look up URL pre-programmed, it seems to recognize all codes I tried .

stupid noise after it scans and does not pick up on anything. It scans a barcode and just give you the number on the bottom of the barcode

I like that this does v cards but its translation of card details into fields in my android contacts needs work.

Why the stupid sound effect after you scan?

Why allow app devs to read and modify our contacts? JUST SAY NO! Oh yeah... and it failed the first (and last) scan. Uninstalled.

I got it to work on my galaxy nexus first time with no problems.

Auto detects what type of qr code you're scanning.

Couldn't care less what it does for barcodes. All I use it for is a flashlight from my camera phone lite when I need one!

Other barcode readers just don't have the options that Quickmark provides. Makes or a quick, fun, and productive expeience.

Supports also encryption - amazing!

I downloaded a few, this one was not a favorite. It doesn't give product #, or image. I liked RedScanner & ShopSavvy, b/c they show the item title. Doesn't recognize various items. Not useful.

Still one of the best qr code readers out there. You should still be able to find them on their main website where you can get the pc & Mac versions

First thing I scanned with this app was the bar code on my awesome doritos locos taco and it lead me to a music website. Fail out the gate.

Brilliant, quick and easy scan. Managed over a hundred dvds in just over half an hour.

Works great. Auto focuses and scans barcode. Searches online for item,add's product details. Creates barcode or QR code from images. Have only tested scanner.

well it dont show the price for items i guess thats my fault i should know better. besides that it does work. but i dont see the need to scan an item to see what it is because i already know what it is :/ unless im missing something that im not understanding. it scans barcodes and tells you what the item is. so far gay.

This app can scan 1D barcode, but when re-creating the numbers, only got QR and QuickCode option. No 1D option. Most of shooping centre still use 1D barcode scanner...

Does scan barcodes, but it doesnt lesd you anywhere on the internet. It just shows numbers.

It scans quickly, but never leads to what I scanned.
