If you've ever had a need to create or edit Microsoft Office documents on your iPhone or any other mobile device, you're probably familiar with Quickoffice. It's a solid app that provides a way to transfer documents to your iPhone, open them, make changes, and then save them back to the device. At Macworld 2010, Quickoffice announced some changes to their iPhone product line. The app now comes in two flavors -- Quickoffice Connect [Free, iTunes Link], which is a document viewer, and the full Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite [US$9.99 sale price]. Both apps now have a feature that should make almost everyone happy -- integrated access to multiple cloud services including MobileMe, Dropbox, Box.net, and Google Docs. TUAW editor Steve Sande visited the Quickoffice booth at Macworld Expo 2010 yesterday and was treated to a full demo of the the Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite. We've got video, so see how Read More
Quickoffice Updated With Google Docs Support
Calendar16 Thu, 11 Feb 2010 13:52:29 UTC +00:00
Quickoffice, the popular office application suite, has been updated this week to include some much needed cloud-based functionality.  New users will want to seek out Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite inside the App Store, where version 3.0 comes with Dropbox, Box.net, MobileMe and Google Docs integration. Documents stored online can now be accessed and edited, then shared within the service or emailed to someone else, plus you can create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel files as before too.  All this needs to be done over Wi-Fi and the app happily supports multiple online accounts.  As was the case with the initial run of Quickoffice products in the App Store, Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite is being offered for $9.99 instead of the normal $19.99 for a limited time. Just to confuse the issue, the original Quickoffice – i.e. without the cloud-based services – still exists and is now known as Quickoffice Mobile Read More

Quickoffice v1.4 Gives Word And Excel Files Some Love
Calendar16 Fri, 04 Sep 2009 15:23:27 UTC +00:00
Quickoffice Mobile Office Suite is a solid document creation and editing app for those of you who travel a lot for business purposes or need a quick fix for your school assignments.  It recently received an update that adds the ability to create, open, and edit Microsoft Word and Excel 2007 files, which should make it your go-to business app. Quickoffice Mobile Office Suite consists of three different apps that can be purchased separately, but together they make the ultimate app.  It allows you to edit Word and Excel documents, transfer desktop files via Wi-Fi, remotely access MobileMe, email files, and even mount your device as a drive. Quickoffice Mobile Office Suite is priced relatively high for an iPhone app at $14.99, which is technically its sale price, but it offers so many features that it’s tough to even compare.  Its direct competitor, Documents To Go, is priced at $9.99 and Read More
Quickoffice Files gets an update; Reaches version 2.3
Calendar16 Mon, 20 Jul 2009 09:03:24 UTC +00:00
Quickoffice Files has been updated to better sing along iPhone OS 3.0. Version 2.3 brings two important features including copy/paste functionality, as well as the ability to access your email attachments directory. Moreover, the application comes with several bug fixes and should be more stable than ever before. Those not familiar should know that Quickoffice Files allows remote access to your MobileMe iDisk account, emailing and transferring of files between a computer and an iPhone/iPod Touch via Wifi, and the ability to mount your device as a drive. AppStore link is here, and from there you can grab Quickoffice Files for a buck ($0.99). While in the iTunes, make sure to check out other Quickoffice apps, as well… Dusan has been using smartphones since their introduction and is now following the latest trends in the industry. QuickOffice Mobile Office Suite - Not Such a Sweet Deal?
Calendar16 Sat, 09 May 2009 02:35:31 UTC +00:00
A recent review by Walter Mossberg, of the Wall Street Journal, has garnered some attention to the recenlty released QuickOffice Mobile Office Suite, which is now available for the semi reasonable price of $19.99. For all of you whose lifestyles or jobs require that you use Microsoft Office on a regular basis and wish it was available on your iPhone and iPod Touch, your dreams are about to come true, well not quite according to Mossberg. While Quickoffice, which is also available on other platforms, did work OK in my tests, it has some major drawbacks that keep me from recommending it right now… In particular, Quickoffice can’t simply load and edit any Word or Excel file you receive as an email attachment. The company claims this is a built-in iPhone limitation, but it’s still a big problem for users. Instead, to get files into Quickoffice for editing, you have to Read More

Pandemonium was just release for the iPhone for $4.99. This game was originally published on the PSone and has stood the test of time very well. The game plays like a 2D action platformer, but with 3D environments. Check it out on the App Store, the game is a lot of fun! Quickoffice hits the AppStore!
Calendar16 Tue, 21 Apr 2009 08:57:06 UTC +00:00
Quickoffice for iPhone is now in the AppStore, allowing Apple handset and iPod Touch users to edit their documents and spreadsheets from their shiny devices, while on-the-go. Here’s a rundown of the application features: In addition to the new application, Quickoffice has two other apps for iPhone users: Quickoffice Files (formerly MobileFiles), which allows users to access their iDisk accounts, email files or transfer them via Wi-Fi; and Quicksheet (formerly MobileFiles Pro), which combines Quickoffice Files with a spreadsheet app. Dusan has been using smartphones since their introduction and is now following the latest trends in the industry. The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do. Excellent App with a BIG exception
AlbertPK 4.0 stars Version: 2.0.0
First of all, this is an excellent app for organizing and accessing files. It is very easy to use, has a great method for organizing files on the iPhone and can even organize files on your iDisk. The new email feature is slick and works well. My BIG problem with the app has to do with what file formats it can read. It is all well and good that it can access iWorks documents, but what about basic file formats for the Mac? How can you leave out .rtf, .rtfd and .webarchive and call yourself a Mac App. These are the base file formats for TextEdit and Safari - you have to support these formats.
Doesn't work?
Cupcake 21 1.0 stars Version: 2.0.0
I downloaded this app over a week ago and have yet to figure out how to connect my computer to my iPhone. Every time I type the address into my browser I get "server not found". I cannot, for the life of me, get my files to upload to my phone, nor can I find a way to contact the developer to either see what I'm doing wrong or get a refund.
Marginal Program with some Major Drawbacks
Ritow 2.0 stars Version: 2.0.0
The iDisk part of the program is nice.
Total Waste
bluce 1.0 stars Version: 2.0.0
MobileFiles one was fine for what it did. This 'upgrade' is the worst. You'll have another MobileFile icon on your phone, your files from Mobilefiles one won't transfer over so prepare to start over and the website you 'upload' your computer files on to upload to your phone doesn't work either. I want my money back so save yours.
You Complete (mobile)Me
Darron Weis 5.0 stars Version: 2.0.0
I don't know what the trash talking is all about. When this came up, I looked at all other file readers and this one has the most bang for the buck. It's as easy to use as the free version, generally reads more file types than anything else, and I was able to delete Airsharing because this does all that and more.
They Lost Me
Jeff Zacharias 1.0 stars Version: 2.0.1
I liked this app as Mobile Files. Good access to MobileMe, cool icon that looked like MobileMe, worked well. Then they moved toward opening and editing mostly Microsoft Office files. Viewing of files was good so I got Mobile Files Pro. Now they have gone all the way and renamed the product to Quickoffice Files and target it the product to viewing and editing office type files. Why change a product so much? Why not have MobileFiles for MobileMe and Quickoffice for people who want to deal with Microsoft Office type files. Sorry, I'm going back to another iPhone app. They have lost me as a customer.
GREAT...BUT!!....
Slavetotherhythm 3.0 stars Version: 2.0.0
I like it so far except it currently has no support for my iWork '09 files. When is that comming to the App?... Then it will be unSTOPPABLE....ish...
Save your money
iPhoneMonger 2.0 stars Version: 2.0.0
If you're looking to save money, go for the free but solid Flash Drive and save another four bucks. If you don't mind paying for quality, I'd pay another dollar and get Air Sharing, or throw down ten bucks and get ReaddleDocs.
A MUST have app
TLinTucson 5.0 stars Version: 2.0.0
This is, by far, the best app of it's kind. The fact that I can save files on my iPhone and email those files to others makes this FIVE stars. This app is worth way more than they charge for it.
Needs iWork support. Overall still awesome.
FrankJL80 5.0 stars Version: 2.0.1
I cant believe people are giving this product a 1 star rating based on a splash screen & a icon.
Great App, Wonderful Work
jtok 5.0 stars Version: 2.0.0
This is the best app for storing documents and such.
Awsome finally what I've been waiting for
Jaf10 5.0 stars Version: 2.0.0
Easily allows me to send emails from my I phone
Horrible new icon!
The Go Getter 2.0 stars Version: 2.0.1
I actually really like this app and despite it sometimes failing on me, I use it quite often. I use a lot for school mainly and so far it works pretty great for me needs. The reason it gets a 2 not a 3 or 4 is because of its disgustingly horrible new logo. EW! Ok, their designer(s) needs to be convicted of design crimes.
iWork '09 Support?
Shaprepenr 2.0 stars Version: 2.0.1
Nonexistent aparently. I can only view my old iWork '08 files. :/
Stupid bag
Wiedzmin 1.0 stars Version: 2.0.1
I cant install update! It just says that it cant be installed, both on iPhone and in iTunes! I really hate this app now - I deleted it, but App Store still sugest to update it and when I turn iPhone on icon of this terrible app appears again.
Icon change...??...what's going on with name changes and logo changes....
CookTheAppleLover 1.0 stars Version: 2.0.1
to save money, they must have had a contest at the local high school to see who could design the new logo.... i guess you can't blame them in this economy..
Does not work 100% on cellular network
jdawgnoonan 1.0 stars Version: 2.0.0
If I could access my idisk, download my files, and email those files 100% over the cellular network than this app would be awesome. The sad thing is that the free app does the first two and I assumed that this app, since it was an upgrade, took the functionality from V1 an updated it with email capability. As it is, this app was a waste of my money.
Won't let you email mp3 files.
Stew Katz 2.0 stars Version: 2.0.0
5 stars if someone figures out how to email mp3 files from the phone.
Works the way it should
Alexanderre 4.0 stars Version: 2.0.0
Good app, works fine, used free mobilefiles, but needed ability to send files over e-mail.
Pretty good
Maleioch 4.0 stars Version: 2.0.0
Does what I want. Can take books and docs on the road. Wish it loaded faster and could remember page number I was viewing when I reopen it. Would help with larger files that you want to read in multiple sessions.
When?
idwhat 2.0 stars Version: 2.0.0
When will it support iwork09?
Mobile me access
ptgn123 5.0 stars Version: 2.0.0
Perfect for what I need. I can access my idisc from my iPhone. Only wish you could choose a whole folder or multiple files to upload or send.
Not ready
DoubleBassBassist 1.0 stars Version: 2.0.0
App has great options, but it's limited in performance The Good -Ability to store files on you iPhone -Lets you email files as an attachment. Very cool -several options for managing your files The Bad -Limited and slow file transfers Uploading your files is done through a web site interface. Files can only be selected one at a time. Great if you have one file to transfer, but time consuming if you have 20 files, 100, or more. Once you select the multiple files, the batch can be transfered. Too time consuming to select multiple files one at a time Unable to connect through the Mac's server connection in the Finder and unable to connect through file transfer programs. Limits your options for transfering -iPhone Sleeps during transfers App does not disable the iPhone's sleep function. iPhone sleeps and transfers fails -App has a variable cache for setting the storage amount, but it's less than what's available on the device -Customer service is lacking I commented on these items using an email link from the company's web site. I also said I would withhold from making these comments until after the next update. After spending time writing my email, I get an automated response telling me to re-enter my comments on another form. I haven't heard back from the company Could become a really nice app. Right now, it's not ready. There are other apps that are much easier to use for storing files on the iPhone. I recommend not spending money on this, until it's easier to use.
Can't email zip files
bv1978 3.0 stars Version: 2.0.0
Don't need to open them. Just want to email zips. That's why I bought it. Ok other than that bit.
Works Great
Yochi-osx 4.0 stars Version: 2.0.0
It does what its suppose to do without a problem.
Does not read mht files correctly.
Deannaz 1.0 stars Version: 2.0.1
I got this because it was the only application I could find that claimed to read web archives .mht files. What you really get is the source code for the page with loads of formatting text inserted. No pictures, no format, just a long string of text. Not something I can realistically use.
Excellent
ECLJR 5.0 stars Version: 2.0.1
Used Mobilfiles and just upgraded to Quickoffice. Both were very easy to use. I have an idisk/mobile me account so I have many files that I can access easily, anywhere. While you don't need a mobile me account, if you have one you can maximize the experience. Quickoffice allows wifi access from your iPhone/iTouch to your computer's desktop and also allows viewing and emailing of almost every common file type. Creating folders and moving files into and out of folders is a snap. No, you can't transfer ten files at once, only one at a time. But once you have them on your phone movement of files is usually one at a time. Doesn't support iWorks '09 yet. I'm sure it's coming, along with document text editing. Don't be put off by the one and two star reviews. This App does exactly what it says. If you already have Mobilefiles then this is a must.
Not for large files
Simply not impressed 2.0 stars Version: 2.0.1
Quickoffice does give the ability to read and store (in the iPhone/iPod's memory) files that otherwise would only be able to be seen as e-mail attachments. But do not expect anything else! I was hoping for an interface similar to AdobeReader, where you can jump page easily, but if you have a file with several pages (for some this might be 20 pages, for others maybe 50 or 100) it is extremely inconvenient since you have to scroll each page individually. For instance, I have a file with 180 pages that I was hoping to be able to access on my iPhone (jumping through pages) but it’s just ridiculous to open the file at page 1 to go to page 100 by scrolling one page a time.
Won't Connect to WiFi
STOP! Do not buy this app! 1.0 stars Version: 2.1.0
I downloaded this thing. Nothing. My wifi is on and my computer is on. The app simply does not work. I have a Mac OS and an iPhone. Linksys won't connect the two. Go figure.
Not Impressed
Bernsterpdx 1.0 stars Version: 2.0.1
This application is VERY buggy. I application does not work as advertised. The website to connect via WiFi does not work well either.
Useless
STOP! Do not buy this app! 1.0 stars Version: 2.1.0
Have not tried other apps like this because my experience with this one has been so poor.
On its way, but needs to be able to view .rtf files
mmaxton 3.0 stars Version: 2.1.0
This app provides a way to access your iDisk files, view and/or download those files to your iPhone/iTouch. Apple should be providing this service to its MobileMe subscribers free, but it's nice that these guys are trying to step in.
Good app but .....
cllgnc89 4.0 stars Version: 2.1.0
A few modifications would be nice. When trying to access files on iPod offline the app opens safari and will not work without a connection. Also if I pay for an app I deserve to not see advertising. If this included download support it would be the ultimate productivity program. Still great app overall.
Wish I knew if it worked or not
Tdigreg 1.0 stars Version: 2.1.0
I don't normally write reviews, but then again I don't normally get paid apps so there is more motivation. I can't really use this app because It will not connect to Wifi as others have said, even though I know for sure that I'm connected. I still wouldn't have written a bad review if the support website worked, which it doesn't. All in all, I'm feeling a little ripped off but would gladly write a better review if I could get this app I paid for to work.
Advertising in an PAID app?
Kimcha87 1.0 stars Version: 2.1.0
So wtf is this? I pay money to look at advertisement? Great app, great functionality, but the ads are just not right. Remove them in the next version and the app gets 5 stars.
Shameless plug. Frustrating dealing with this company.
FrankJL80 5.0 stars Version: 2.1.0
Originally gave this app 5 stars. Dropping it down to 2 stars for a couple of reasons.
What I've been looking for.
BenjamInSF 5.0 stars Version: 2.3
I've been using this app for about 3 months now, and all I can say is that I'm disappointed that a 3rd party developer gave us something Apple should have already with the release of MobileMe.
Overwrites attachments!! All "photo.jpg"!!
dromedary32 3.0 stars Version: 2.4.0
When you transfer photos by emailing to QuickOffice, they get all renamed to "photo.jpg", so when you import them the app wants to overwrite each one. It warns you and gives chance to cancel, but really needs to stop renaming your files to "photo.jpg". (Or have option to edit saved name instead of overwriting.)
Dishonest description earns them 1 star!
Contactno 1.0 stars Version: 3.1.0
Just be honest with the description. Can't trust this company when your first experience is to be duped. Wrong way to utilize in-app purchase system. Should have been listed as a lite version or a trial. Just erased it, because I got treated like a fool, not a good way to gain NEW customers.
This is a cool tool.
sear123 4.0 stars Version: 3.0.0
This is a cool tool. It's not difficult to configure and there is a User Guide listed under the question mark icon which explains how it works.
Nice.. save my icon space.
Homeflash 4.0 stars Version: 3.0.0
First of all, this is really no brainer to set it up. A person without computer knowledge can set this up easily, don't know why someone had difficulties set it up and claimed to be experienced computer professional or teacher, I feel bad for his/her student. (if you do not know what I meant, that person may have just deleted his/her post after seeing this ) This app basically combines all other online services if you have any. I used to have dropbox, now that with this, I can have dropbox (free 2gig), box.net (free 1 gig) and googledocs (don't know how much I can have for free). Anyway, it is convinent for me to put my doc in one app. (By the way, mobile.net charges you, so you can avoid that if you want free services) First create a quickconnect account, then add each online service account you may have and there you have it. Other than that, you can store your files onto your iphone/ipod and access from wifi web site, and you can move them to your existing online services like googledoc, box.net, dropbox and etc. It is nice app. However, your website does not have this device.. Hmmm I wonder.
Why?!?
lookie pookie 1.0 stars Version: 3.1.0
It doesn't save changes unless you upgrade for $10. This app is BS!
Completely dissatisfied!!!

More Money
Nick3637 1.0 stars Version: 3.1.0
I bought this application back when it was called MobileFiles and paid $$. Now its a free app and the the company keeps trying to get the customer to pay another $10. You can't even open the app with choosing between the upgrade and the "free" version that I paid for. This company and the product is not worth it.
Ok...
Splatter153 1.0 stars Version: 3.1.0
This is not the best way to get new customers, and the WORST way to use in-app purchase... Why fooling people making them believe that they found a bargain. Just put a 'LITE' at the app. I'm GIVING a star because there is no less options...
If all you want to do is save & read
Former ycal addict 5.0 stars Version: 4.1.0
It works great.
User interface is nice and smooth
dunkirk16 3.0 stars Version: 4.1.0
UI is definitely better than "document to go". However, no "find and replace" function in Word processor. You can only do "find". Come on, "find & replace" is a basic function for a text editor.
No google docs with free version

I just needed a simple app to type up a few paragraphs while I'm sitting in traffic or whatever. This app only let's you save your work if you buy the full version, which is b.s. and the select all/copy functions that work on Apple products does not work on the app. So I just wasted 15 minutes typing something that was erased. Why even offer a Lite version?!
