I use this app to write reports for school, all the time. I love making documents, then emailing them to the computer, and printing them out. The only thing I would suggest is to put the menu, document viewer in landscape with a picture of all the documents In your library, like a preview.

It really blows my mind how people have managed to rate this app so low. It does what it says it does. The fact that it does what does on amobile platform is great on its own. You want all the features? Then go back to your desktop. It works, it looks great, and it's cheap.

I quickly found out how to create new documents and spreadsheets, but the copy/paste function is disabled for this app and the file sharing with computer requires a constant wifi connection, so there is no way to import anything while away from my desk. It is alright for excel, although you need to edit cell by cell. No tab available. Word is not as good as I'd hoped. A little better than the notepad the iPhone came with but just a little. With luck, the updates being referred to will allow for better integration of files used in and out of the app.

Great; nice look, solid feeling software, BUT, no Excel sorting - that small feature goes a long way - please add it, then I can change to 5 stars.

I cut & pasted a doc into the word processor & attempted to email it to myself. It wouldn't work from 1 acct to the same acct nor to another. I emailed them and got a reply on the same day. Within 2 days they found & fix the prob. I can now mail attachments btw. different accts.

Works great, never crashes, does as advertised. The latest update fixed the problem that made me want to smash my iPod through the monitor of the computer I was trying to dock with. And now it costs $2 less then what I paid for it. One issue: the user cannot speedily navigate to pages in a large file. It feels like it takes 20 minutes to flip to the twentieth page of a document.

Trying to migrate an excel spreadsheet on a four year old HP iPAQ to my iPhone. Had tried another iPhone spreadsheet last year but file transfering was too cumbersome. Reviews on this program looked promising. Two major deal breakers: Setting up the file transfer scheme per the manual killed my Epson wifi printer connection. There is no freeze frame. Without freeze frame, there is no "spread" in speradsheet!!! My old Mobile Excel software has neither of these problems! Looks like I'm stuck with two devices for a while.

I purchased the mobile version and used it. I do alot of writing on my HTC WM6.1 with alot of hand recognition writing & cut & paste. I need to highlight & use different font colors! Once I forgot to bring it along and tried to use the native notes application in iPhone. I find the virtual keyboard better than WM6.1 handwritting of the HTC. The errors increases as the device becomes older. The only problem with notes is that it does not support font, undo, highlight, & text color. There is no bold, italics.... The quickoffice program has everything, including sync with desktop (wifi) which is a must. The UI of the application is fabulous. The undo shake function is cute, but you need to know it. It is not clearly known unless you read through the help file (well written). The main complain was that the sync can give alot of errors. When I was transfering all my existing files to quickoffice, I encountered many errors. I have to do numerous retries. My iPhone was running out of power & I had to dock. When I took out the dock, the sync was much better. Now I sync without docking & it is much better. Please application work so well that I can even dump by WM6 which I keep for writing notes. Excellent program!

Easy to use, navigate, and edit documents. Love it.

Please add the ability to search for words through the ppt files and the ability to search words in landscape mode

Love this app but would love a in App Upgrade.

As o 04/06/2010, the application crashes when the keyboard is opened. This occurs on existing documents or new documents, in both 1x and 2x mode. Hopefully this will get fixed rapidly. I am able to view .doc and .docx documents without any problem. I am not sure at this time if this is only "word" documents or if this also occurs for excel spreadsheets. Really needs Powerpoint create/edit capability. If the problem gets corrected, I would rate this product much higher.

Peice of shiat app will not open anything I have sent it, WTF?

It refuses to open documents I tranfer from Word to Quickoffice. It has screwed up my whole itouch which now refuses to connect to wifi despite the presence of a signal. I have read and reread their directions over and over again, but they are very vague in spots, particularly on how to transfer documents from Word to Quickoffice. They should hire a new technical writer. I still have the app on my itouch because it was so expensive and would be so convenient if I could only figure out how to work it. I am really, really disappointed, I looked forward to using the app.

How does it work like word if you can't add a image/picture!

I am a writer and this app used to be perfect, but now they patched it to where your cursor will always be at the beginning of the document, and paragraph indentions reset after reopening. This app is now useless for writers.

This makes my world so easy. Now that I have this app my laptop semes usless. Must have and it's only 7.99 can't wait till ppt creating and editing is availible. UPDATE: the price is now down to 4.99 and still no ppt support. would love to see the ability to connect to a printer.

Still can't Freeze Columns and Rows in spreadsheet. When I sync over WIFI it crashes. I want my money back. Freeze columns and rows in a spreadsheet! How could they leave this out?!! I wished I had bought Documents to go. Now I have to buy another program to get this simple feature. Tech support non-responsive. They just send a form email, and ignore you. I guess while they figure how to put the feature in. You've been told in advance! Chock this one up to a $10 dollar lesson in dealing with these developers on here. Still no updated features for what I need. Passing on this one.

Back to awesome. It was long wait but we're back up and running.

This app is now fixed. Just before this version it used to crash if it wasn't on wifi. Now it works the way it should. It is a great app. I use it all of the time. Well worth the $5.00. It now also does power point. Great app.

Thank You quickoffice for fixing the problems. I can use it again.

Still needs to be resolved. ===== PREVIOUS REVIEW =====This new update really degraded the app. Can't even use it any more because it crashes and closes in about 4 seconds on my iPhone 4.

Update 5/20: patch released today and it seems to have fixed the crash issue. Raised back to 4 stars -- maybe 5 if the promised improvements work well.

Great! Love it, it works great for typing up docs. But needs to have printer capabilities.

Serves my purposes well Highly recommend it. When there is a problem they fix it pronto.

After the last update and using it extensively I must say it's incredible!

OK. The update works now in 3G.However, for better user experience, please optimize the insert photos function in Presentation editor. I have many photos in camera roll. The app can't load the thumbnail of my photos so that I could know which one I should use. Also, please make the Guide (text mode) in offline mode. I think many users need it when they don't have Internet connection. Thanks!
