Having the ability to utilize the entire screen as a shutter release is one of the most useful features of QuickShot.... image quality has improved noticeably. Simple additions of an auto/manual save feature, rule of thirds and timer really add something new and desired to the original camera app.

My 9 year old daughter just finished up with the science fair, so she's very excited about experiments. When I told her about Quick Shot claiming to improve the stability of pictures, she suggested we do an official experiment. She took five pictures with Quick Shot and five pictures with the standard camera app, without me telling her which one was which. When we compared the pictures, the difference in the pictures was dramatic. We decided to repeat the experiment with my five-year old son and got the same results.

I have been using this app for about two weeks and I can't imagine not using it. I can actually take pics and be in them with my friends!! And the best part is not feeling blindly for the tiny little camera icon, no more "half a face missing cause i couldnt hold the phone in one hand and find the button with the other" shots. Auto-save is also a delight, I like not having to stop and make a choice before I can take another pic.

I can see absolutely no reason why Apple didn't include the features and functionality of Quick Shot in their camera app. Apple is usually the king of UI, but having a tiny button to press to take a picture is ridiculous- especially in cases of self portraits. Being able to touch anywhere on the screen is brilliantly simple. And the ability to chose NOT to save a picture is great. I hate having to go through 30 misfired pictures and having to delete them- Quick Shot helps me totally avoid that.
Get rid of the splash screen!

Why why why must you use a splash screen?! There are other similar apps and all of you use a splash screen. Why? If you got rid of that i'd give it 4 stars. Let me scroll through my photo album and it gets 5 stars. This app has the fastest saving times and pretty much mimics the regular camera app. But it won't replace it because of the stupid splash screen. Put your website on the options page on a button so when you tap it it'll open safari and go right to your website. Just don't do the splash screen. Great job so far but if those 2 changes were made it'll take the place of the regular camera app.

I had a friend take our picture with my phone before this app and they had a hard time taking the picture and finding the button. For $.99 this worth every penny. The picture quality is an improvement from the camera app that comes with the phone. My son moves around quick and I now get less blurry pics and I like the option of choosing to save or delete each photo. The splash screen really is not that bad, but it would be nice if you added the option of taking 2 or 3 pics at a time before the review screen (One right after the other) Then review 2 or 3 photos... I just think for people with kids and pets that it would allow us to have the best possible chance to capture a good photo every time. This is a great app and if they add that feature it would be a 10 star for sure lol.

I love this app. It works as described but today i realized that it doesnt geotag the photos it takes. I downloaded them to my computer and the ones taken with the iphone camera app have the gps coordinates but the ones taken with this app dont have it. I dont want to manually introduce them when i upload my pictures to any photo sharing website!

I love the simplicity of this app - the ability to take quick clear pictures is fantastic. However, the slow savetime has made me lose several priceless photos that I discover did not save completely. The facebook upload feature is neat but I'd make due without it if that is what is causing the eternal savetime. Please fix this for an otherwise perfect app!

There are hundreds of apps to do that for us. Your app was a great stock camera replacement with a full screen shutter button. It was perfect with the need of a few small updates (saving the pictures in the background so that the “Quick Shot” can live up to its name). I will say it was a great app when it started but ended up a junk app!

Saving pics is slightly slow, but overall I like this app. It also helped eliminate "clutter" on my iphone, as I was able to delete a photo editing app as well as hide the iphone's camera app. I like the ability to take a pic and edit it all from within one app. The ease of being able to tap anywhere on the screen is really nice. I also like the feature that makes sure you are holding the phone steady before it will snap the pic. Being able to delete photos from your camera roll would be a nice add.

I love everything! I can take pics while I am out, edit them and then upload them to facebook, without ever switching apps. I totally disagree with comments about save time, it's still the same. I like seeing that this app really can be an all in one camera, steady shot feature is just one more reason why this is the only camera app I will use from now on!

This app. does what it says. Tapping the screen in any location is a total plus and overcomes poking around for the small shutter button at the bottom of the iPhone in camera mode. What a relief! Also, pictures come out much more clear than before. Hoping this helps us get more candid shots!

Works well! Not completely foolproof; it is still possible to take a blurry shot - but it happens much less often than with the standard camera app. I'd like an option to superimpose a vertical/horizontal level, maybe in the next update? Overall, I'm very pleased with this app.

This is the best camera app I have come across yet, and I've tried a lot of them. Besides the obvious features like tapping anywhere on the screen and being able to choose whether to save a photo this app comes with a photo timer and rule of thirds which is icing on the cake.

Great additions to initial version of QuickShot. A "steady shot" addition allows me to ensure the picture is as clear as an iPhone can produce. (With this option, I have found a new respect for the iPhone camera.) This includes optional sensitivity settings. My favorite addition is the ability to directly upload and tag my saved photos to my Facebook account. This saves time over usual upload and tagging of photos to Facebook. Still has the original full-camera shutter release, auto/manual save features, rule of thirds and timer.... all appropriate and desired functions. I have since moved my original camera app to the page back of my iPhone. Nice updates!

This has replaced my front page camera app. Latest version offered great improvement (removal of splash screen, facebook intergration) and a relativly snappy interface which is very easy to use. Plus, tons of options to customize how the app performs (auto/manual save, auto/manual FB upload, steady, etc). Well worth the 99cents.

I admit, I first bought this app because of the fabulous icon. Once you press that icon though, you'll find a ton of awesome! My pictures look so much better now because of the stablization option. The ability to delete pictures before you save is incredibly useful for decreasing the amount of time that comes with saving. Totally worth the $1.99.

Just downloaded this app last night and so far so good. Don't really notice much of a diff with the camera shake feature, but I've never had too much trouble with camera shake, so I may just have steady enough hands. The timer is great, though a countdown sound would be helpful for self-portraits (unless I missed that). And being able to take a pic by touching anywhere is a great feature that Apple should have come up with in the first place. Overall a great app.

Everyone has probably mentioned how great this app is so i'm just going to get to the parts i don't like about it. When setting the option to just save the pic without viewing it; it does take a while for the photo to save. seems quite a bit longer then just using the Apple camera app. I know this app is doing a lot more then the normal app but when trying to get a good shot and you need to take muliple pictures people start getting annoyed waiting for the pic to save to try again.

Does nothing more than the built-in camera. Actually, the built-in camera is better. The tap anywhere feature is a myth. It has the same little button as the built-in camera. If it had been described accuratly I would not have bought it.
