Adult Swim Games VP Jeff Olsen has said something that’s music to my ears, at least. In a recent interview with Joystiq, Olsen made the point that an original IP is often a more profitable game than a branded one. Basically, he believes that branded games like your ’s of the App Store world are more inclusive. "The audience for a casual game based on completely original IP, in my experience, is almost unlimited," Olsen said. "If you're basing it on a show, you're probably shutting more people out than letting them in." If you've been annoyed by your inability to truly boast about your best runs other than posting to Facebook or Twitter, make sure you grab this update ASAP. If you still haven't downloaded the game yet, it's still on sale for 99¢ and I really recommend picking it up. It's a quirky take on the see how far you can go platform game type that has become so popular on the App Store, and it's even available online as a free Flash game. According to IGN, Adult Swim's amazingly popular Robot Unicorn Attack [99¢] is about to be joined by an evil App Store twin. Robot Unicorn Attack Heavy Metal is abandoning the colorful platforms, rainbows, and sparkles for pentagrams, fire, and brimstone. Per IGN, the gameplay is identical aside from graphical changes, and one much more severe change... The fantastic soundtrack consisting of Erasure's Always has been replaced by the equally over the top Battlefield by Blind Guardian.
