This app adds a little twist on the typical sudoku game and in doing so it requires a little different strategy. I would definetly recommend this to any fan of sudoku. I have only one complaint, it would be better to be able to switch rows when moving them instead of all the rows behind it just sliding over one, this makes it hard sometimes to play. Four stars until then.

Most Sudoku apps require a sequence of precise taps on fairly small keypads to enter numbers into the Sudoku puzzle matrix. This is ok for stationary play but, if you're in a moving car or train, it can become very difficult. You can end up spending much of your effort correcting the results of bad taps. I prefer to play Slide Sudoku in these environments because it uses drag-and-drop actions to manipulate the puzzle. This approach seems much better suited to the iTouch UI than keypad tapping. Slide Sudoku does take some liberties with the classic paper and pencil game. A classic puzzle is solved on a square by square basis. Slide Sudoku is solved by sliding eight rows of numbers to remove any duplicate numbers from the nine columns and then sliding the rows vertically to remove any duplicate numbers from the nine 3x3 boxes. Pros: Nice use of the iTouch interface Cons: Not exactly a classic Sudoku game. Addictive
