Stay away since last update HTC Evo here, this app doesn't work. Stay away. Since last update it is unwatchable. Sling will try and charge you $30 for phone support to fix what they broke. What was once a great product has been turned to garbage by a very low rent and poorly run company not even remotely interested in customer satisfaction or retention. I've been a sling user since the beginning, and this fiasco is a joke. Goodbye Sling.

Great but a few problems on Nook CM7 I have been a dedicated Sling user for years with boxes set up in Vegas, San Diego and Rio. Vegas and San Diego work fine except that I can't seem to get the up and down arrows from the Remote to work on Sling Player Mobile. I just bought a Slingbox Pro HD and this app. HD quality looks good on a laptop using Slings web app, but the mobile android app on a tablet looks like Standard Definition even when using a high speed WIFI connection. Hopefully they'll update the app to account for a WIFI connection and scale up the video quality. Not worth the $30 if they don't fix the quality.

I just bought a Slingbox Pro HD and this app. HD quality looks good on a laptop using Slings web app, but the mobile android app on a tablet looks like Standard Definition even when using a high speed WIFI connection. Hopefully they'll update the app to account for a WIFI connection and scale up the video quality. Not worth the $30 if they don't fix the quality.

Having being an early supporter of SlingPlayer on the Android platform, I am very disappointed by the fact that I cannot choose to have the Tablet version (I only use it on my Xoom) rather than the Phone version (which I do not want). This is a great product, I would recommend tablet owners get the right version. I however will be stuck with it because I won't pay again and Sling Media obviously don't want to support their keenest supporters. Will change rating if things change.

I was reluctant to shell out $30 for this because I am using older (Slingbox AV) hardware which is not officially supported. However, my Samsung Galaxy S 5" Wi-Fi (model YP-G70CW) running Froyo 2.2.2 works well, especially with a good wifi connection. I won't give a higher rating because i feel that Slingmedia doesn't adequately support its older hardware. They would much prefer to sell you new hardware.

The technology would be good if it wasn't for quite possibly the worst people in the tech world running it. They won't help you if you don't pay for suprt. Their suprt people appear to be PUNKS who if you refuse dont let them connect remotely to your computer. The fact that they never update the app is proof that they don't care. I purchased a SOLO to watch the Steelers games from Cleveland (Slingbox located in Pgh) and it has made life worth living again! Sling's greed knows no boundaries. Sling continuing to gouge their customers over and over again... I have now purchased this app for windows mobile, iOS, and android and now there's an android tablet version too? $120 in non-transferable licenses for devices I don't own. This company's greed knows no boundaries but sadly this garbage has become the norm for developers. Everybody but the consumer wins.

Great almost all of the time I purchased a SOLO to watch the Steelers games from Cleveland (Slingbox located in Pgh) and it has made life worth living again! Seriously, 3G over Verizon works quite well almost all of the time (DroidX) and I'm in outlying areas quite a bit. Definitely worth the $30. Neat to have TV wherever you go.

Horrible company. The technology would be good if it wasn't for quite possibly the worst people in the tech world running it. They won't help you if you don't pay for suprt. Their suprt people appear to be PUNKS who if you refuse dont let them connect remotely to your computer. The fact that they never update the app is proof that they don't care. The fact that they make you pay seperately for a tablet version shows greed. Also, their accounts may have been hacked as my admin pword was changed just like others are reporting.
