This is a great new version - nice improvements from the iPhone version. I especially love the art!

This really is an amazing game! I had the iPhone version as well, and this is WORLDS better. The 4 player multiplayer is So COOL to be able to set this down and play against 3 other people is really unique. My kids and I have had several heated Slug Wars battles, even the 4 year old is getting into it. The artwork is great, the sound and music is great, the gameplay is totally unique, and takes advantage of the iPad in a way I simply have not seen. Based the other games out the this is really a must have for the iPad...

This game is a completely new version over the iPhone release unlike some of those "other" guys. It really is a large and complete game. Slug Wars to Shell and Back kinda combines gameplay from Fieldrunners and Plants vs. Zombies (what better mix could you ask for?) I spent hours going through the challenges and enjoying the humorous characters and storyline. The artwork is great, the characters are especially well done. Multiplayer allows up to 4 players at the same time which is really cool. The game does have a couple needs of polish and tweaks but I imagine those will get fixed as the updates come. I know the game makers promised additional releases of new characters and maps too which would be cool to see. I would like to see a totally open map where you could build a maze with the towers. An option to draw your own paths would also be fun. Overall, it is definitely a game worth getting. There are tons of levels to progress through and tons of unlockables. The feel and gameplay is just fun.
