People should read the description before buying this app. It doesn't work like you would expect, but will save you a bunch of money if you text a lot. Basically you write your text message and then hit send, the program figures out what carrier to use and creates an email message that will show up in your friend's sms.

This is a great app. it does exactly what it says it does (if you read the description). I never texted before, due to trouble with seeing and all the errors with touching the wrong keys. I am thrilled. I did not understand what the big deal about texting is, but now I find it easier to commuicate. Plus it helps with having a small texting package. Short, sweet and to the point. I download apps. for email, but was looking for one for text and bam thier it was. I could not be happier with the program and the support I have gotten. Mike returned my email with step by step instructions on removing my signature, and even the little things help for us older users. Many apps. are not offering or following through with the support for us basic users. Thanks for coming up with it. tmy

This is a really great app. I just have one suggestion to make if you are thinking of buying it. READ ALL OF THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE YOU BUY IT SO YOU CAN MAKE AN EDUCATED DECISION.

Ive bought pretty much all of the sms apps abd this one actually works the right way and hasna very nice and simple interface.

I have used it so much texting my friends that it has worn out my battorie twice I got it around 4:30 p.m. And I wrote this at 9:00 p.m.

It does wat it says but do u have to exit to home screen to go to landscape mode???

Does not work with all US carriers. Bummer to find out AFTER you spend $5. Can't use it because most the numbers I text say "carrier not supported"

I'm keeping a minimum SMS plan though for when people text me first... And I have trouble pulling up my mail sometimes so I'm not relying on it for Imp. Messages but I still like it and it works fine 4 me

Nice job pulling the wool over everyone's eyes guys! Not an SMS app at all. If you have unlimted SMS....don't waste your money with this email based app. Who do I talk to about a refund? No really, I'm serious.

I have to say the major shortcoming with this app is that it's bound to go through the built-in email app on the iPhone. As a stand-alone app I would have certainly rated it higher, but it seems redundant and overpriced for what it offers. I'm not sure why Apple does this in the first place (didn't we learn our lesson licensing the GUI interface to Microsoft?) Keeping the iPhone a closed system to a large extent in regards to critical apps isn't going to serve Apple well in the near future.

It is so annoying reading reviews from people complaining about an issue this app was never designed to accomplish. I suggest people actually read what the app is designed to do before paying 5 bucks then complaining because they were too ignorant to know what they were paying for. App works great and saves you 10 bucks a month with AT&T because all you need is the 5 dollar 200 text package vise the 15 dollar 1500 text package.

This app does exactly what it says. The only thing that would be a nice add-on would be so I wouldn't have to switch between e-mail and SMS touch. It should be all in one app.

This is the best app i have ever got its fast and there is no charge for the messge i give it 5 stars.

I want landscape keyboard on texting so bad. It's so slow going through e-mail. Messages arrive so late. SMS is much faster. How long must we suffer for that to happen already!!!!

I tried it with two different carriers and it didn't work a waste of money rip off!

I have no service on my iPhone and this allows me to continue texting ppl I love it, just wish it would delete the previous message I sent so I wouldn't have to.

Don't buy this app. It is email based and not SMS at all. It is a lie and I want my money back.

More of a "proof of concept" app than anything that should be used by people who txt regularly. If you send more than a couple txt's a month, just stick with the ATT plan.

Good start , but the real saving is to send to global phone numbers ,,, please try to make suitable for international number ,,, thank u ...

I will agree that infinite SMS was slot better but instill like this one alot and this one is simple to use. Need to fix going back and forth from email to app though.

Make it like Apple's texting chat box but just for your email! Pls do SO it needs AN UPDATE!! The alert thingy needs to popup when ever u turn it back on! I would buy for 10$$$ if u did this! Maybe more!!!

old app was much better, this app does not work for me at all, when u send something it swithches from sms to email. When I am on the email it wont send either the one they had before it was discontinued gave you a 10 digit phone number. do not waste your money on this app also i am very unhappy about how they just took away the other app when i just got it and paid for it

Yes, I get it... Some of you guys are annoyed that this application relies on email -- that it sends the *original* text message to someone's phone. Then their reply goes to your email app, and subsequent answers & replies are done from *their phone* to your iPod Touch/iPhone *email* client.
