Description

Do you want to be able to formulate Soapmaking Recipes wherever you are and not go running to your computer every time you need to make a change? The Bramble Berry Soapmaking Calculator will accurately calculate saponification (SAP) values for over 60 oils with superfatting ranges up to 20%. The calculator also figures out an estimated amount of liquids for your recipe. Program comes pre-loaded with 3 recipes. You can edit those recipes or make your own from scratch. Recipes can be saved and emailed. App works in grams and ounces and comes with a NOTES section for you to customize your recipes.

SUPER SOAP APP!!!

This app is a dream come true for soapers. We've tried several different notecard, file & recipe apps for our soap recipes but have been frustrated by the inability to really customize our recipes & their specific oil combinations. This app has tons of oil choices for formula building and even allows us to choose our superfat %. Would love to have room for additional notekeeping but awesome as is. Buy it!

I love Brambleberry almost as much as I love my iPhone and I couldn't be more excited about this app... but it isn't ready for launch yet. No regrets, I know Brambleberry will get it right and the updates will come - but for tonight, lots of crashing, (update) FOUND the notecard function, no back function, can't add EO amounts or customize date... needs work. Thanks for building the app. I'll change my rating as the updates roll out.

I am so excited that this app has been created. Brambel Berry, You Rock! I can see you updating this in the future with saponification ranges to accompany the lye calculator. I would also love to see soap characteristics offered for the soap recipes so that one can guage whether the soap will be highly moisturizing, effective at cleansing, hard or soft, have foamy or creamy lather, etc.

Very useful. I've added quite a few of my own recipes to test the lye calculation...all were calculated accurately. App needs a little tweaking. A few added features like a place to keep notes and ability to edit the water amount would be nice. It crashed a couple times also. It is an awesome app. Would recommend to anyone who would like the convience of picking up your phone and calculating a recipe.
