People knocking this game with low scores because there's a free version are doing themselves and this game a disservice. The free version is nowhere near as engaging and fun as Ikanoid. At $2.99 it's quite the steal. Ikanoid has great, polished visuals, great sound effects, but most of all the gameplay is engaging and nowhere near as boring as the other arkanoid-clones.

The app runs very smoothly with a lot of power-ups to make things interesting, it pauses if you get a call or if you quit the app, so you can continue exactly where you left off.

This is a preety good version of brickbreaker. Pros: lots levels, great size of bricks and colorful. Cons: popstation quality sounds too much of the fruit powerups that create points, needs more powerups, and needs a real pause menu, I don't want to have to quit the app to pause

It is alittle sloppy and needs a few more power ups. A boss at the end would be cool

Great game, but a few problems:

Very fun game, well worth the $3.00. Only con I have is no auto pause like Break has. Performs very well, ran smoothly even with 6 balls moving around.

Firstly, please do not review apps for which you have not tried.

Progress is not saved Lives appear limited to four Most of the other issues seemed resolved, and the game is at least playable now, just sort of pointless since levels are never unlocked and there are no local highscores. Probably worth the dollar in it's current state, would certainly be worth it with these two issues fixed.

This is better than the free alternative. Good experience over all.

This game is just...wow!!! I don't know what to say! The developer has listened and answered by adding a pause feature which can be activated by shaking the phone and a MUCH better UI! I am actually glad I purchased this app. I can't wait for future updates!

The gameplay is great! But it will be better if we could change the background image with custom ones you provide and another thing I would love to see is an apple style icon...like the "iPod" icon, only with your app design, get it?? Until I see that 1 star.

Get this game while it's free! This is the best break game on here yet. The graphics are very eye popping and amazing and it's just pure hours of fun! I am so happy I downloaded this game! Seriously download this game while it's free, and don't complain once they put it on sale because they did give you a chance for a free download! This game is definitely worth the money, I am glad I got it while it's free! Fantastic job! Thank you for creating another addicting game for my iPod! =]

Just like the arcade version. The latest update has the game playing much smoother. Having net scoring is a great add on. Please fix the ball going through the paddle on very low angle returns, it happens a lot. This works great with the touch screen. Great price and loads of fun. Keep the updates coming, Enjoy!

This has a huge ammount of quality to it! It is superior to the other apps of this type, in my opinion!

Downloaded (10/20/2008). Nice game play but everytime that i go to a new level the accelerometer is not working.

i finished 40 LV, but when i close the game, and restart, i need to play start from lv 1.....how can i clean 100 Lv ,when i can't save????

At least it did when I played it as Ikanoid. Does anyone know if that was fixed?

Good game to kill free time, but too many bugs. When you just about to win most difficult level the ball gets stuck in infinite loop and you have to restart level. +100 more bugs and I am not wasting any more of my time on it.

This game has decent graphics, smooth gameplay, and great power-ups.

Best polish of them all.

Free! Lots of fun!

It's pretty fun, but I prefer Superball 2. It's pretty cheap but worth it. This has pretty name graphics and is featureless, but it serves its purpose.

Nice game, graphics are nice, explosions are great and tons of action in this game.... the dev did a great job! Just seeing all the action makes you want to keep playing it!

Streets ahead of the other Arkanoid clones out there, and a relative bargain at only 99 cents. A game well suited to the iPhone touch screen.

I like this game a lot however there is bad collision detection, sometimes the ball will go through your paddle bar, and it will even sometimes go through unbreakable blocks. You can also get stuck in this game where the ball gets stuck in an infinte loop bouncing around up top and never coming back down.

I bought this game and it's really terrible because everytime I play, the balls get thru the paddle and it doesn't seem to be using multi-threading for the balls, and its slow. Especially when there are multiple balls. The free Break Classic is the best one I have played so far and works very well.
