올해는 유네스코가 지정한 세계 천문의 해 입니다..
400년전 갈릴레오 갈릴레이가 최초로 천체 망원경을 사용해서 천체를 관측했던 것을 축하하는 행가 입니다. 천문의 해를 맞이해서 다양한 행사가 한국에서도 열릴 예정입니다.

StarClock에서 사용한 사진들은 한국의 전문 천체 사진가 두분이 찍으신 작품들입니다.
