When we posted earlier today, both companies had confirmed that the Star Wars Arcade game would be pulled from the App Store by the end of the day tomorrow. The fate of the entire Star Wars games franchise in the App Store was uncertain. Then, they deemed that all Star Wars games would need to be pulled from the App Store. Kotaku is reporting that after the end of March, the augmented reality shooter Star Wars Arcade: Falcon Gunner [$2.99] will be pulled from the App Store. We took a look at this title when it was announced in early November, with its release coming just a couple of weeks later. When I got my 3G almost two and a half years ago, I would have never have imagined I would be regularly using an iPhone as a mobile gaming device. I know that games were pretty much the first thing to take off in the infancy of the App Store, but those early versions proved to be nothing but brief diversions for me.
