I’m a big fan of the Stitcher Radio app (I have over 800 hours of usage, it tells me) and the company just released an updated iPhone app which will guarantee that my friends know how much I dig it because it now includes integration with Facebook’s Timeline. Once you download the updated app and authorize Facebook, it’s simple to share the podcasts and live radio that you listen to. Stitcher said it has worked closely with Facebook on this and that it is one of the first mobile apps with Timeline integration. Since it’s the Friday before a long weekend, I thought I’d take a little time to share some of the apps that I’m digging. I’m a big fan of podcasts and Internet radio so I was very excited to check out the Stitcher iPad app. This brings podcasts and live streaming radio to your tablet without having to download anything. I downloaded the free Stitcher iPad app yesterday and have been playing around with it for a few hours. I’ve used this on the Android platform a while ago but I stopped because it would crash too often. Stitcher Radio is an app that attempts to culminate every possible news podcast into one convenient app that users can then browse and listen to. There are a ton of different popular podcast in the list to choose from such as stations from IGN, ESPN, CNN, NPR and more. The app gives you quick access to these stations and even lets you search for local stations in the area where you live. Users can create there own specific favorites list for instant listening or just bookmark them for later listening. The app also has a live section where you can either look for local live podcasts or browse through the many that are listed.
