Version 2.0 looks like it has been revamped from the ground up, featuring the all new “Explore Box,” which was already available on the web-based service since August. Moreover, there’s swipe to stumble capability that allows you to simply swipe your screen from right to left to explore page after page of new content. Popular time-wasting site and mobile app StumbleUpon added a new feature to their previously mentioned Android app that recommends apps you might like from the Market. If you find the Android Market a little hard to navigate when you're searching for cool new apps to download, StumbleUpon's mobile app now has a neat section where you can stumble Android apps based on what you have downloaded and what similar users tend to like. It worked pretty well for me; I found a few tools that are pretty neat (though I had heard of a few of them before), as well as a few games on the Market. It's currently in beta, and I definitely noticed a few beta-esque quirks—it did send me an app or two that I already had—but overall, it's a pretty neat feature for us Market junkies. StumbleUpon is about to take its web recommendation savvy and apply it to mobile apps for the first time. The service, which builds personal recommendations for users who want to find web content, is now launching an app discovery feature for Android apps.
