If you’re an Android user who doesn’t have SwiftKey installed on his/her smartphone, you should do it this very second. Stop everything you’re doing and grab it from Google Play (linked below); you’ll thank me later. It’s by far the best virtual keyboard out there, sporting an awesome text prediction engine and some nifty advanced features that will even recognize when you miss space (even though it’s a pretty big button). Now all that’s cool, but I do have a specific problem with SwiftKey. While I love its text prediction capabilities I don’t like that feature always being turned on. Looks promising I just got this yesterday and it's already starting to learn my style and predict words well. Not as fast as swype, yet, but I know there's a learning curve for the software and myself. The issue I had with swype is that when it gets something wrong, it's pretty jarring and you have to really focus on the steps to change the word, especially when it's early in the message. Swiftkey makes fewer errors, and the errors are much easier to revise.

Not for male hands Does not play nice when you use an external BT Keyboard, need a way to shut off some of the intrusive popups. Does not register finger taps accurately, needs calibration option. Keys are too small, needs option to scale them larger. Portrait mode especially small to point of unsuable and needs alternative layout options similar to Big Buttons keyboard. 2 button press to activate voice input annoying for users who use this often. In the end about the only strong point is the prediction algorithm, needs work.

Amazing! Fantastic! Incredible! Installation was simple, and then I asked Swiftkey to scan my FaceBook and Gmail to learn words I use often. I started sending an email and it already knew what I was going to say... even better, it learns as you go. It is completely flawless on my LG Optimus 2X P990, and that includes voice input - it actually gives you a few choices as to what you said - it has never failed to recognise my voice word-for-word. If I only got one app for my phone, this would be it!

Loved it, but didn't always send my texts-Nexus S I love(ed) this keyboard. But every now and then it wouldn't send my texts. So I'm back to the Google stock keyboard, which isn't as good, but I haven't had any issues with lost texts. So SwiftKey X I enjoyed my time while it lasted, but I won't be back. I rely to heavily on texting.

How does an application get worse out of beta? Predictions and learning was flawless. Now as a paid application it has taken to correcting words I DON'T WANT CORRECTED! Perfect with one exception With personalization and a while of use SwiftKey becomes very accurate, but the censoring of "bad words" is a big minus, an option for this would be very welcome. I think it's a big minus but being so good it has made typing on the phone less of a pain in the ass, I can't give it anything other than 5 stars.

Not Impressed I've had this keyboard for several months now. I've actually grown more frustrated with the prediction over time. IMHO its really no better at prediction than even base Android keyboards. Give yourself a lot of trial time before you commit to purchasing this keyboard. Everyone is different and you may have a better experience than I have had.

To slow to Address Issues: Swiftkey X has several bugs that have been repeatably brought up in the provided forums; however, TouchType prefers spending time and money promoting itself more than correcting their product - Working the app, providing requested features, etc. I recommend you spend your money on an app from a more proactive developer!

Really excellent keyboard. Virtually no learning curve, and the text-prediction works like a charm. The only negative note is that sometimes it tends to be a bit slow, but mind the fact that it only happens sometimes and i'm running it on a slow phone. Other then that, perfect! :)

As the previous rater said, its tough not to give this app 5 stars. My main complaint is that it hasn't been optimized for Google Voice commands on Android 4.0. The new Voice Commands writes text as you say it. As you speak, the words get populated right onto the text. Although it seems minor, it's a very helpful feature. Currently SwiftKey does not utilize this feature - It opens up a new pop-up for voice recording, then after you finish speaking, its translated into text. Please fix SwiftKey, and I will return :) For now, I'm sticking to the Vanilla ICS Keyboard.

Slow. When the screen comes into view it is slow and typing is now Laggy. Swype comes into view much faster and does not get choppy. Please fix this. Spacebar is also too small

.. the cretins at Samsung decided we don't need commas or similar, so consigned them to a sub-page. Argh! Nice to have cursor arrows, too. And the predictive features are excellent - it doesn't just try to finish a word as you type it, it is also then very good at guessing your next word as well! For people with issues, these are usually addressed by adjusting the Settings to your own needs.

Swift x key is by far the most effective keyboard I've used. It automatically predicts what I'm going to say.... It is simply amazing how it can predict my thoughts into words most instantly. I don't have to teach it anymore. I have been using perfect keyboard for a long time and it was working fine until I came across this awesomer keyboard app. The only thing I need to do is memorize and get used to this new keyboard.. Then I think it would really be the most efficient that I used for Android.

I have been looking for a keyboard app for months trying to find one with good keys and decent predictive text. I have tried a lot, some with lots of fancy layouts and colour schemes, but overall this makes the rest look mediocre. The predictive text is especially impressive. Most of the others appear to be written by people with a less than satisfactory grasp of English. But this one is the business. 5/5 from me. So good I paid before the end of the trial.

Keyboard needs a little bit of a redesign, as the key could be slightly wider. The bottom row seems a little squished with the voice/setting key, which give a smaller spacebar and ends up making it very easy to hit either the period or comma keys. Please look into this. Swiftkey X could also use more additional supported languages! Specifically Traditional Chinese (zhuyin) or ANY Asian character language for that matter. Expand your market! I like this keyboard app, but I would like to love it. (UPDATE: I just saw a beta for a Korean keyboard available until April, so I take back what I said initially about not having any Asian languages.)

I have tried a few other software keyboard applications and all have their good points. However, those behind development at SwiftKey really seem to have an uncanny knack for creating text prediction algorithms that actually work. This is the exact type of application that will push Android over Apple in the long run. I don't know if it's just personal preference, but this app is the lynch pin of any Android OS set-up. This keyboard is completely unbelievable! When I first downloaded the free version of this software and installed it I played with it for about five minutes before I decided to buy the full version. This keyboard is worth every penny then some! The longer you use it the better it gets too. In my opinion this needs to be the default Android phone keyboard. I purchased this app for my rooted Xperia X8 and have had issues with force closes and I have never gotten the keyboard to work yet. I have contacted the developers and their response "It doesn't work with your custom ROM, sorry." So if you have a rooted phone/tablet and a running a custom ROM don't run the risk and waste your money.

Great keyboard but the keyboard itself isn't very attractive.. What would be great is a Ics themed key board. The neon theme template doesn't look as good as the dark or pumpkin style! But if you changed the pumpkin color to ice cream sandwich blue then it would like nice!

I like the keyboard, but I wish it had some more settings like hide the period and question mark in the main screen to enlarge the space bar. I can see how it could be faster than the default keyboard but it's so odd switching over and the space bar shrinks when I'm doing a Google search and sometimes I just don't want it to correct me because it doesn't understand what I'm trying to type. There's a few tweaks I would like but overall I think it's a good keyboard to have as an option as you switch between keyboards.

Good current words predictions, but blindly predicting the next word is useless, better to have a bank of punctuation like the default android keyboards. it badly needs customizable keyboard layouts. The space bar is way too small. Context-specific next/done doesn't work as well as the default.

It's a good app. Much more usefulcomprehensive than the normal keyboard, but there are afew fatal bugs, such as sometimes I try to delete a letter, but the backspace key just puts the same word back again. For example I try to delete "me", but when I press backspace it puts meme instead. Also sometimes I can't switch which word I'm interacting with. I have rarely felt so utterly betrayed than I did when I installed this on my tablet, only to be told that I needed to purchase it again. WTF??? You buy an app on Android, it should run on all your devices - you shouldn't create a second separately-charged version for a different class of device. SwiftKey has proven itself a despicable company with a cavalier disregard for its best customers - the paying ones. Fortunately the default ICS keyboard is so much better than SwiftKey, the company will disappear soon enough. Karma's a beach, huh?

Installed the trial version and bought the paid one within a few days. Great for typing sentences and phrases on a regular basis or replying to messages, making calendar entries, etc. My one star deduction is for : 1] The inability to create my own short forms for regularly used phrases - for example 'pcw' expands to 'Please call when free'. 2] Very few options are shown as the characters are entered, reducing effectiveness by increasing the typing required. All words that start as consecutive letters are pressed should show and the user should be able to scroll and select.

I installed and purchased this just to see if it could compete with Smart Keyboard Pro, which it didn't. Typing was not as smooth, quick or intuitive and there isn't enough customization options. I couldn't even find a setting for switching of of the automatic space after a word is produced. This is important for example in finnish and german which both have a lot of combination words. Smart Keyboard remains the best keyboard so far. Better than Samsung stock keyboard, though.

How do i disable predictions when i'm typing an URL or something that i don't want to be corrected?? Also i have composed a mail for about 15 minutes, and suddenly it began typing xxxx... instead of deleting the word. I had to rewrite the whole mail on my PC. Also happens on facebook non mobile page, and in Polaris Office when i try to write some stuff (it begins duplicating words and won't let me delete it -> the solution is to use another keyboard) These are very annoying bugs, please fix it, and make an option to disable the suggestions because i don't always want to write things correctly!!

I'd give it five stars but it never learned to accept "'s" explicitly appended to words. It's a small thing but it could get really annoying. Other than that annoyance, it's the best keyboard I've used. It's how predictive text should be done. It works to my advantage compared to swipe/slide keyboards which I never got used to.

Every now and again I get the error "unable to load language packs", and when typing, the preditions area says "Loading predictions..." and just sits there doing nowt. It is so annoying, I would love to shoot the developer. Also, the space bar is too small, and would be great if you could customize it and it's position... Autocorrect needs to take spacebar misses into account. Swipe down to minimize keyboard doesn't work too well, despite tuning the sensitivity. Currently commas, periods, and closing brackets are inserted before the last space. This feature should be extended to other punctuation like colons, apostrophes, and closing punctuation marks. Need Japanese.

I bought this on sale for 10¢ and honestly I would've payed full price for it. This keyboard is genius and actually replicates your personality and slang. Only issues I have with it is: typing a word I don't want to save in my dictionary, but that's just a few occurrences. Would love to see more color themes also.

I only gave one star because zero was not an option. Not worth the $0.10 I spent. This keyboard is completely unusable for me because I can't log in to anything using my e-mail address (firstname.lastname@gmail.com) because it automatically predicts my yahoo username as soon at I place the period between my first and last name. There is no way to turn off the prediction and therefore it is completely rubbish! Uninstalled and unhappy about the much too short 15 min return policy

I purchased it by mistake... i thought it to be Swype's Pro version. I like swiping over the keys and hate tapping on individual keys. I know it learns words, that cool, but still swype seems faster to type. its just my personal preference.

Simply unbelievable! You can try this too. Open faxebook app and just for instance write a very long status. Exit. Come back to fb and start with the first word, it gives you the entire story. Try and then complain. Best predictions...

When hitting some keys in very close succession, it either deletes the word or doesn't put any key in, even under the Fast style. :-( Fix it and I'll give it 5 stars. It's only 3 because it happens way too often.

This keyboard is fantastic! I love the predict feature! Based off of my typing style, it predicts my next word!! How cool is that?! I thought I was a quick typer before? What? No way! This has improved my speed by a ridiculous amount! I use to use gokeyboard because it was pretty. Accuracy is winning right now! I just miss my pink keyboard! It was so cool! Maybe the devs can fix that for me! I'd be willing to pay for the theme add on!!

This really a great keyboard. It's easy to use, had great predictions, and I love the long press for secondary characters. My only problem is with the number pad on the number/symbol screen. The "0" should be centered under the number keypad and preferably with the whole set of numbers flipped to match a keyboard. This could just be an optional setting of course. Overall, It's still my favorite.

So much better than the Galaxy S2 stock keypad. It corrects my typing near flawlessly and every key also has a symbol for long press. No more pressing multiple buttons to get to a comma! Can customise with different themes and loads of tweak settings. This is only 49p at the moment... . I highly recommend this. One of the best apps I have ever bought.

Wonderful keyboard for my HTC Inspire phone! I would definitely recommend this over the stock keyboard any day. The predicted text is amazing, the only thing that could make this better would be to add an option for a longer space bar! I keep hitting the period key on accident. :-)

Worth the fifty cents that it cost get it now while it's on sale I'm typing so much faster now.... Just wish the space bar was bigger so I didn't keep hitting the period button so much while typing or a option to Move it would be nice but that's the only complaint I have so far.. The dictionary works great, both english and my common language. But the app seriously needs more themes. Also, don't know if swiftkey x is the cause, but since I installed it, after exiting an app by pressing the home key, the loading screen pops up and I have to wait about 1 minute everytime. Please check.

Learns your style - often writing a message is a matter of typing one or two letters then selecting the suggested word. For commonly used phrases it soon learns which word follows.

I was using the stock htc keyboard, which I loved...then upgraded to the Galaxy S II, and couldn't take the keyboard at all. This works close enough to htc, especially with contractions and long press to type symbols. Nice!

This keyboard really knows what it's doing. It learns quite well what you like to type, what words and phrases you like stringing together and suggests them. I've tried a couple other keyboards and none is more convenient than this one. Also side note: This keyboard has the question mark on the main screen, and doesn't require you to tap to the symbols screen for it. I really like that

If you write in English & French this is THE keyboard app to get. I write about half & half in English and French with my HTC Amaze 4g. The prediction keyboard that came with the phone was so bad I had all predictions disabled on it. When I saw the app on sale I decided to try it without much hope (for bilingual use). I've been using it for a while now, with full prediction enable, and this app is absolutely amazing at predicting what language I am writing in and predicting the right words in the right language. Even in French this app can predict words before I even start to write them. The HTC keyboard was constantly predicting the wrong language words like it didn't realized what language I was using.

I thought I'd take a risk and buy this and I'm so happy I did. It is an extremely clever keyboard and is easy to use, it's increased my typing speed dramatically, what more do you want!?

Overall this is a good app. The word prediction and corrective text is great. Only has a few themes for the keyboard but still nice. The only real complaint I have is that it takes up over 7.5mb of space on my phone. Phone space is a real concern with all the apps available, A fix for this would make this a 5 star app. LG OPTIMUS.

I like this keyboard a lot but there a few minor changes which would make it even better. First, separate long-press duration settings for portrait and landscape mode would be nice. Second, return should be short press and smiley faces shouldn't even be on the keyboard in my opinion. Third, on ICS, the long press mic button which takes you to "Swiftkey Voice Input" should instead invoke the standard "Google voice typing". Fourth, a wider spacebar! I accidentally hit period instead of space on a regular basis! This is all nitpicking, but if it were fixed the keyboard would easily be 5 stars.

I installed this on my Samsung Note, as the XT9 on the Samsung keyboard was driving me nuts. overall it has been a massive improvement, the app thought that my phone was a tablet, and recommended the tablet edition, so I tried the free tablet edition, but there was a massive space between the keys when using that version in portrait mode. I went back to the standard phone edition and it is working great. I would love to see more styles for the keyboard though. I would recommend this product.

Love the prediction. Would have rated it five stars if it gives the option of disabling auto-space. Also, would be nice if it supports chinese language too, so I don't have to keep switching keyboards. Couldn't get used to the small spacebar at first, but it gets better with more use.

This app just annoyed the hell out of me. Fast type on SwiftKey X just sucked at predictions. Did same on GNex and no problem with predictions. The only plus to SwiftKey X is the gesture delete, and cool look for the keyboards. Other then that... I'm staying stock. Glad I brought at 49¢ instead of full price. With more work it will be a cool key app. Waiting for that day

Keyboard is nice, I like that it brings up your most often used words making it easy to text fast. Only complaints is that most of the time in landscape mode you can't click on done to put the keyboard away and send text. You are then forced to stand phone back in upright position and scroll through all text messages to get back to the bottom to click send.

The concept seemed well conceived, however, after using Swiftkey for a month I finally was forced to move back to Swype, due to too many crashes. The keyboard seemed to freeze up too often, and I found when I'd use the voice function, the problem became even more acute. Also in my view, you should be able to, in one key press use the voice function. Unfortunately it takes two presses of the "Swiftkey," which I found ironic and disappointing

I'm currently using GO Keyboard on my HTC Incredible 2, and have been an avid user of it for months now. I've been using SwiftKey for 2-3 weeks now and its been amazing sans one gripe... The auto-space and auto-insert. I have found myself gradually backspacing and correcting the auto-space and period insert feature. It really wouldn't be an issue, but the keyboard settings lack the options to disable such options, even when I disable every feature possible. I would love to rate it 4 or 5 stars soon...

I have downloaded so many keyboard. But it is the best!! J love how i dont need to change the mode for the numbers and symbol which it can be chosen by pressing hard letters. It's fast and learn my typing style. Very easy to use. Now texting become lightning fast!

I've been looking for a better keyboard than the default and I am not huge fan of swipe. I appreciate the layout and the spell check is on point. It's super intuitive with guessing which word you are going to say next, making texting ten times better. Just waiting for some additional themes. Would recommend!

I have tried every keyboard on Android, used to be a Swype fan, now I know I will never use any other but swift key. If you just installed, be a little patient to allow predictive text to get to know your style and after a while, it's almost scary how good it is at guessing what your next word is, and if it doesn't, usually the first letter or two will call up the right one. Guys, do not waste your time with any other keyboard, you found the best.

Give us more customization of the keyboard i.e. removal of question mark to allow for a longer spacebar, and maybe some other possible tweakabity please :-) Some more themes are definitely necessary as well.... I love the layout of this keypad but it just needs a little more work. I think if I were to spend the time to get used to it I might like it a little better but this thing auto corrects more words than any other keyboard I tried and its supper frustrating... I wish there was a way to disable this software when using my physical keyboard on my droid 3 but I couldn't find a way.

The text prediction is amazing - sometimes I can write entire texts with it following the first word. It is much better than the keyboard that comes with the android and worth the $0.99 investment. My only problem is that the keyboard isn't as responsive to my fingers as it could be, especially when the phone is plugged in. (I have an HTC thunderbolt.) This isn't any different from the normal keyboard, and is probably something that the developers can't control. Why is the 0 on the number pad below the 9 instead of the 8? Seems a little counter-intuitive to me.

Having just messed around with this for ten minutes, I'm wishing I downloaded it a month ago. I've been struggling with the old version of Swype on my SGS2, and this amazing app is SO much quicker and easier to use. If you ask it to learn from your Gmail/SMS etc. the predictive capabilities are just awesome. I can't bring myself to give it 4 stars, but as others have mentioned it would be nice to have more themes. But for me personally it doesn't bother me that much and I'd rather they spent their time on improving the AI aspect, since this is surely their strongest selling point.

The one and only thing I was missing in my switch from blackberry to a Galaxy Nexus was typing on a hardware keyboard. Thanks to this app, there's now nothing I miss. Excellent application. Although there should be a button to minimize the keyboard. Sometimes the only way to do it for me is to press back (which also takes me a page back). My g2x runs stock gingerbread and swiftkey's memory footprint is around 20mb. On my Gnex it is 50+ which causes intermittent soft resets. Please look into this. I love swiftkey otherwise.

Personally this keyboard isn't for me. The auto-correct is too aggressive and for some reason tends to operate when I'm typing in password fields which makes this impossible for me to use and so I've disabled it. Also there is a small but noticeable lag when using it over the stock keyboard in certain instances. While I like the keyboard skinning option the cons outweigh the pros and for me I have no real issues with the stock keyboard running on a Nexus S.

The virtual keyboard works fine, but the physical keyboard integration is sloppy. For example, the caps lock key doesn't work, and punctuating the last word of the sentence capitalizes the first letter of that word. The keyboard needs to allow custom smilies like Smart Keyboard does. It would be nice if this keyboard had a way to insert smilies even when the physical keyboard is out (maybe a virtual button on the screen or through a physical key bind).

The prediction and error correction are first rate. I'm a very sloppy typist, but it's not a problem with this keyboard. The smallest key size is great - although the keys are tiny, the fact that you don't have to move your thumbs as far makes it very fast to use. Learning from your text message history is genius - I often find I can type a whole text message simply by hammering the completion key.

After upgrading to ICS it takes up too much space. Conflicts with the Samsung GALAXY S2 default mail app. You can't see what you're typing. Changing key height to small doesn't have any effect. Works really well otherwise.

Shortly after a recent update, keyboard just starts entering whatever it feels like in Google Search text entry box... tried three different browsers.... tweaked settings on Swift Key X.... problem persists and even after a few months and a Second EVO 3D!! I love Swiftkey, but it does have some drawbacks. First off, it seems finicky on my hardware keyboard (MyTouch Slide 3G). Every time it updates, something might behave differently (I've recently lost the abilty to delete an entire line with alt+del). Also, it's huge. My phone doesn't have much space and every time there's an update, I'm afraid I'll need to uninstall something else! I wish I could roll back to an older version. I liked it better when it wasn't "X"

Keyboard has a lot of great features that help with quick typing and keeping me in check with spelling and grammar. Awesome for the most part. Issues begin to arise when you analyze the memory footprint while not in use. I've seen this app constantly consume 14mb of memory and no way to free this up without selecting a different input method. Please fix this.

Absolutely amazing. I've only paid for 3 apps and this is one of them. An absolute must for touch keyboards. Two things I would fix though: Most importantly, the option to select your speech-to-text input. Google has really perfect this feature and honestly is the only thing I dislike about your product. Secondly, the ability store your profile online or create a back-up to restore from. I recently had my phone replaced and this is the only application I lost data on.

I didn't realize how much this keyboard improved my typing until I stopped using it and went back to my phones stock keyboard. No keyboard even comes close to this one in terms of efficiency. My only issue, which is the same one listed by many others, is the complete absence of additional themes. I just don't understand why the creators wouldn't either create more themes or allow users too. Literally, every other market keyboard has many, many different themes to choose from.

I wanted to give it 4.5 stars. If you are a clean typist then this app will be effective more quickly. I scanned my texts to assist with the predictions and was amazed by the end of the day. I was almost typing messages by only hitting 1 of the 3 suggestions. The voice entry portion was not as good and problematic on my Galaxy Nexus. Since I care about the keyboard portion more it doesn't bother me to switch out to a different one for the voice entry. This keyboard is top notch.

I really love the way this keyboard works, but there's a huge bug, as I type in my browser, it only lets me type about 5 characters and erases it. If I try to delete the text that overwrite it, it duplicates it. Ex: I try to type "quick brown fox". I type "quick", hit the space, it deletes it and now I'm starting over with "brown". I try to delete it and it inserts "browbrowbrown". This really needs to get fixed or I'll have to uninstall. I love everything but that.

Swiftkey and dolphin browser was by far my preferred set up. But after the ICS update this app will not work well in Dolphin HD, is buggy in opera and other apps (no swipe delete) and offers me no search help in stock ICS browser. For a heavy Googler, the app has become useless to me.. and no sign of a reply to my customer support messages. Not good enough from my most expensive app. Very frustrated since ICS update, as I was happy before, and it's not like ICS was unexpected and just suddenly rolled out!

This thing is a mind reader. Makes typing so much easier and faster, heads and tails above any stock keyboard. Only downside is I lost swipe text on my Galaxy S2.

Could this be real!? I upgraded from the free trial ver and this paid version continues to deteriorate after 2 mos of heavy use in Indonesian - English bilingual. I swear the trial version was smart and so was the paid version for the 1st week. But after that it's downhill. I spend more time autocorrecting this thing! It's so dumb now! Wth is going on??

The customization options are great. And the ability to sync FB and twitter with the keyboard makes predictions so much more accurate to how I actually text! Aka all my swear words are known and predicted haha. It also remember common phrases, so you type the first word of a typical sentence, and the following words are properly predicted. And you can press the space bar to use the word guessed. Love this app! Makes my texting so much easier.

Seems great language learning & prediction ultimately compromised by the Android platform. I wasn't a fan of the iphone os until moving to Android and trying the various keyboard choices. I'm constantly reminded of early Windows, with the quirkiness of layers upon layers of software. Very surprised editor's choice and other industry reviews. There must be a better more intuitive way than the constant finger-roaming, however slight.

I was just on a journey across other keyboards to discover why I hold Swiftkey X so dear. The Dictionary! It learns from you, guesses the correct words (not words with other starting letters *cough GO cough*) and even predicts your next words without having typed a single letter! This is as good as it gets.

1. But it's to heavy. 30 mb of RAM. Other keyboards ~10 mb. Try to improve it. just because of having not enough memory I use another keyboard. 2. Another thing: prediction doesn't work on Google play.

Keyboard has a lot of great features that help with quick typing and keeping me in check with spelling and grammar. Awesome for the most part. Issues begin to arise when you analyze the memory footprint while not in use. I've seen this app constantly consume 22mb of memory and no way to free this up without selecting a different input method. Please fix this.

This is a great app. It should have just come installed by default in the phone. I kind of wish it had sywpe ability too and more keyboard customizations. Nonetheless, it is a superb choice.

As a fresh install, this is a brilliant application. But over time, even with care the database gets corrupt and low priority words like place names in England become first suggestions. Deleting dictionary and reinstalling fixes it for a fortnight, but then happens again. A very promising app that hasn't reached its full potential. Fixed this. Just not enough headroom on my sdcard. It still overprioritizes place names at sentence starts. As they both start with a capital. It's SILLY. But otherwise good

I own this version and it was fine but I participated in the swiftkey 3 beta and it keeps asking me to upgrade. I figured that this was now the new swiftkey after the beta came out of beta.. But it isn't. I've already gotten use to the beta layout and I like the blue and Grey theme on the beta which this does not have. I also don't want to be hounded by the beta asking me to upgrade if I continue to use it? Man I don't know what to do!

This keyboard is amazingly accurate and has amazing text prediction! The only thing I don't like about this keyboard is that it is not very customizable.. I would like to use my own smilies under the smiley key myself but aside from that amazing.

This adds efficiency overall, but the times it doesn't, it really is a drag to get it to do what you want. Nice that you can delete learned words by holding down on them. Why are url's such a pain to type? Why is plurality such a nightmare?

Finally A great, intelligent keyboard! Love it but need more options, like the upper preview or the ability to tailor the layout completely. Also more themes are necessary due to what competition is offering. After latest ics update the voice recognition button do not work and keep asking which voice input you want to use. After choosing it keeps pop up every time the keyboard is in use

After I tried various input methods on my XPERIA Ray, I read some review on Internet about how wonderful Swiftkey X was... And it definitively is! Auto-suggestion is sometime so accurate it's like if it's reading your mind! More, it is smart enough to detect when I write english in the middle of a french message, no need to switch the layout (even if the option exists ^^ ) Keep up the good work, and google will have to add sixth rating star :)

Needs a lot more customization options. It would definitely be a 5 star app if it had the option of using swype technology. Also, I would love the option to delete full words when holding the backspace key rather than only deleting single characters at a time.

The word prediction is excellent and saves you thousands of key strokes. It learns your style and the swipe to delete a word is very useful. The options and feedback are also excellent. It goes above and beyond what you would expect from a keyboard app.

Should save composed words made with coma like "well-know". Also it always suggests a full capitalized word if the first letter of that word is a special character like "Über". Also, if I select a sugestion and want to insert the second ("), it always forget to delete the space between the suggested word and ("). It does the same with (:), (;) and (-). Yes, it predicts well but there are some input issues.
