With a devotion to Japanese traditional culture, Shidara is creating modern performances with Japanese drums and the bamboo flute. They are a professional company, touring not just throughout Japan, but sharing the traditions of Japan with audiences throughout the world. From 2006 they have been regularly touring the US. SHIDARA is considered one of the top groups in all of Japan.

APP: TAIKO with SHIDARA
Hear the booming sounds of old Japan. Both witness the home and art of SHIDARA and play SHIDARA drums. The song RAKU uses three kinds of Japanese drums (taiko), the Odaiko (large drum), the high-pitched shime daiko, and the nagado daiko. With these three drums you can play this fun song, written by Shidara's premiere song-writer and Director. Apple went to the mountains of Japan to record the sound of SHIDARA's instruments. Now you can create something that sounds just like a real taiko performance!

MENU:
　•Music video NIEBUCHI/KOGANE NO KAZE Taiko with Shidara version
　•Play Taiko APP Odaiko, Nagado daiko, Shime daiko
　•RAKU a practice song, with two different tempos, one at a practice tempo of 90 and one at 120, the tempo at which the song is performed with a flute melody. There are 4 versions.

NOTE:
Usually sounds are re-created from a synthesizer, but using the actual sounds of SHIDARA's drums, recorded at Shidara's facilities in the mountains of Japan, you will hear the true greatness of these authentic Japanese instruments.
If you use your Headphones or external speakers for iPhone(iPod), you will experience a more realistic sound of SIDARA.



〜　人を結び いのち奏でて　伝統を舞う　〜

志多らは、日本の伝統文化として知られている和太鼓・篠笛を中心に演奏活動をしているプロの和太鼓集団です。日本での公演はもちろん、2006年からはアメリカツアーを行い,「日本を代表するグループ」と海外でも高い評価を得ています。

アプリ「TAIKO with SHIDARA」では、志多らの演奏と映像をミュージックビデオで見ることができるとともに、「大太鼓」「長胴太鼓」「締太鼓」の音を楽しみながら、楽曲「楽-Raku-」を合奏することができます。
全ての楽器は志多らの生音源を使用しており、より生演奏に近い音を再現しています。

このアプリケーション内の太鼓等の音は、実際に愛知県東栄町にある「志多ら」の練習場にて録音した生音です。
ヘッドフォンまたは外付けスピーカーをご利用いただくことで、よりリアルな太鼓音が再現され迫力のあるサウンドがお楽しみいただけます。
