Wow, the visuals are amazing! I love the butterflies, bubbles and amazing colors. Honestly, I don't really like Coldplay, but I love TTR2 so much I decided to give it a try; now I'm addicted. This is my new favorite tap tap game and the songs are growing on me.

Tapulous does it again and blows away other rhythm games. Best of all, the Coldplay edition came as a complete surprise; that is, until the band's official Twitter feed made the announcement. It would be lovely to download more from the band's catalog, but for now, this is fantastic.

If you are a fan of coldplay this is a must have! Great graphics, great music, great game... totally worth 4.99 the only thing I would like differently would be to have the song 'talk' in it.

This app is a great game overall. The game is great and the graphics look amazing! My only complaint is that there can be some lag if a lot is going on on the screen, but Tapulous says they're working on that. Overall, a must-have for all Coldplay fans!

As usual, a music lover's delight. Truly, the Tap Tap series is iPod Touch/iPhone's own Lumines.

You've done it again! I think this is the greatest premium edition Tap Tap so far. The song selection is perfect for old and new fans! And DX-Chain! You're already number one on Viva la Vida in expert mode! How do you do it! ^_^ The perspective of this Tap Tap is similar to the original Tap Tap Revolution game that started this empire. The art style in this game is by far my favorite! You can really tell they put a lot of time into the detail and feel of this game. I do have one problem though... I am actually not sure if this is a problem. When I hit revenge mode in hard, during Life in Technicolor ii and executed a shake/arrow move, the bar that arrow was on vanished and didn't reappear until after I broke my combo. Other than that, I'd say five bucks well spent! I would and will strongly recommend this game to any music lover. Gamer or not. ^_^ -Otoris

The overhead perspective is growing on me and definitely freshens things up for this Coldplay edition. I'm not even a Coldplay fan but I love this game (and yes I picked up a couple songs from it :P). Extreme mode, as with TTR2, remains challenging...so kudos to Tapulous!

If you are not a coldplay fan don't bother! The new interface is hard to play with, especially if you came from ttr2. Waste of $5!

I'm on the Tapulous team, but wanted to say how proud and delighted we are to have this game out. 10 AWESOME tracks, lots of special effects and theme customizations, and stable/fast. Make sure to unlock the boss tracks on each level - those are the best ones!

I hat Tap Tap on my iphone before and got bored with it from lack of good song selections. A great set of Coldplay songs will ensure a long life on the iphone. Great release!

This is easily one of the best apps I have ever purchased. The only things that I would change are more songs like Talk, Violet Hill, and The Hardest Part. Also maybe change the Viva la Vida remix theme to the colors that Apple used in Coldplay's commercial. That would make it so much cooler! Other than that this is the best app that I have eve used! Buy it right now! Keep'em comin' Tapulous!

I agree that there is a bit of a lag at certain points. Also, I miss the Revenge mode almost EVERY time because it comes at a point where I'm trying to tap and shake and the same time (kind of like trying to pat your head and rub your stomach while keeping rhythm). All in all, it's a gorgeous app, and once you get the hang of it, it gets addictive!

Three simple words: BEST. APP. EVER.

The idea behind the app is great, the music really is fantastic, however, it's all ruined by implementation; They've made the backgrounds so 'fancy' that every time there is a background change the app stutters, causing one to miss notes. This turns the whole experience in to something a lot more frustrating than it should be. I've tried rebooting the phone to see if that helps, but it will still stutter.

This game has a lot of stability problems, and I think it's because there are a lot of graphics and color changes. also, when I shake the phone on the arrows it acts as though it doesn't register which messes up my runs. I love coldplay and this app butthey need to really fix the stability issues and arrow recognition.

Like Tap-Tap Dance, this game is weighed down by lag and the infamous 'Double-Sphere bug' (aka Double-Beat bug - the same bug that makes the songs Compressor from TTD and several songs from TTR2 impossible to complete without losing one's streak, unless a player very quickly taps am invisible "mystery note"). The double-beat bug appears in the song "Clocks" on the hard difficulty setting around beat 157 (the first note in the right lane that begins the repeating series of diagonal lines that correspond to the vaguely "Clock-like" instrumentals). None of the beta testers or employees who haunt the tapulous support site have disclosed this gameplay issue, as was the case for the song "Double-Down Under" (one of the 3 songs bundled with Tap Tap Revenge 2) in which the players had to find it out for themselves after many frustrating attempts to get through the songs without losing the 'streak.' I'm not a Coldplay fan, but a few of the songs a WOULD be good enough to tap along with, IF only the gameplay were as smooth as represented. As a top player (i.e. top 20 in many of the Tap Tap songs) and experienced video-gamer, I have grown accustomed to having to compensate for the visual lag in the Tap-Tap series, but this should not be necessary in a rhythm game. This Coldplay installment has me greatly ticked off, because I vowed never to give Tapulous another dollar until the growing list of bugs with previous games were fixed, yet went ahead and gave them another $5 after trusting their assertion of "superior stability" for this game. This app may not crash often, but that does not mean gameplay is stable. Instead of taking the top players' advice to simplify the backgrounds (or add an option to turn them off) in order to increase the frame-rate and audiovisual sync, Tapulous went FURTHER in the same wrong direction they have taken this franchise since the stellar NIN edition was released and added MORE laggy visuals. If any producer of games for other handheld devices released apps riddled with as many bugs as there have been in the Tap series, the company would be filing for bankruptcy. Gameplay videos made by ultra-tweaking beta testers do not mitigate what another reviewer aptly called a "stutter fest" I would recommend buying this game at a later date, and NOT accept Tapulous' promise of an update. The last update to Tap-Tap Dance, for example, broke as many things as it fixed (i.e. more dropped notes than before and double-beat bug mentioned above is still in Compressor), and the last update for Tap Tap Revenge 2 failed to fix its problems. Time to hunker down, Tapulous, and work out the nitty-gritty problems if you want to play major-league and be favorably reviewed alongside more "solid" apps made by developers who give proper attention to smoothness of gameplay before throwing everything but the kitchen sink in the background.

One of my favorite apps right now. All I wish was that I could see the notes that you have to hold better. Oh and all you people saying that there needs to be more songs,it's $4.99,you could buy 10 songs on iTunes for twice as much as this game,and you can play them! Overral a great game. I'd love to see a tap tap red hit chilli peppers :- )

The song choices and visual flare of the application are all well in good but where the game fails to deliver is in a lag-free play experience. Given that a players score is based on their ability to time taps in sync with the music, the consistent slowdowns during many of the songs, regardless of difficulty, is unacceptable. The fact that several Tap Tap variants have been available in the iTunes store for some time leads should mean that issues like this have been squashed. At $4.99, it is not uncommon expectation to have a rock-solid play experience. Here's hoping the next version shows improvement. And as a suggestion, offer an option to turn off the secondary visuals if that happens to be contributing to the slowdown. For the record - I'm running a 1st-gen Ipod Touch with the latest updates.

Always been a big fan of the Tap Tap Revenge games, but this is the first paid version I've bought. And it was totally worth it - great songs, excellent presentation and graphics, and nice progression of difficulty. Highly recommended.

Great game, even had my wife playing it (if you knew my wife you would understand how great this feat is)!

These are all great songs but as everyone has said, Violet Hill needs to be in here. The Scientist could be cool too. Lost+ would be amazing. I was also pleased to see Life in Technicolor II on here. This is overall a great app. The graphics are amazing as is the music and overall experience. If more songs are added, I will give this app a 10. This is a must have for any Coldplay/Tapulous/Guitar Hero/Rock Band fan. Also, please make Tap Tap U2! What's a better way to compliment a new album than with a new game :D

If for some reason you don't enjoy other Tap Tap apps, don't let this stop you from considering Tap Tap Coldplay. The interface is a completely unique work of art, and the background themes and visuals make you feel in a whole new world. This, paired with amazing tracks from Coldplay, make this app a must-have. To the already Tap Tap lovers, be sure to try this out!

Wouldn't you love to tap tap to the breath-taking classics of With or Wothout You, Where the Streets Have No Name, Sunday Bloody Sunday, I Still Havent Found What I'm Looking For, Desire, One, Beautiful Day, Vertigo ect.? U2 is the biggest band in the world and have been at top through the 80's, 90's, and today! There new album debuted at number one in at least 30 countries and it is sure to spawn at least a few U2 classics, the fan-favorite being "Magnificent.". To top it all off, U2 has one the most Grammys of all bands. This truly legendary band deserves the next tap tap game!! If you agree, add your support to your reviews and keep this support going on! I got this game and liked it until I came to the point where when you flick it to the side for some of the notes. it flew out of my hand and broke the screen. now apple is going to charge me $149 to repair

As one of the more expensive apps in the store this one is certainly NOT worth the $. I suggest that you'll buy it due to the Coldplay influence but that is where you'll go wrong. It's simply Colplay music giving you the option to tap to the beat. Like myself I believe you'll regret buying this app, it's really really not worth $5. Maybe $1 but ideally it should be one of the freebies.

The rectangles csn be sooo hard to hit right on. Especially when you get to harder levels and there's more going on. I love being able to tap to my favorite songs but I just wish it was like the original with the circles. Also now that I think about it, it's sometimes really hard to see the yellow 'stream' to know you're supposed to hold the notes. It's ok up until you "shake it to get revenge" then there's just too much color and stuff going on to see well. Right now, I'm not quite sure if I would buy this again if given the chance. If it weren't for it being coldplay, i would absolutely NOT buy this. Please consider my ideas. I've read some other people's reviews and some seem to agree with me. Thanks!

I've become one of those people who taps away on their iPhone while riding the subway, hoping to finish up a song before my stop. Other incarnations of this game were not as fun for me mainly because I wasn't a fan of the songs offered. Enter Tap Tap Coldplay, where I rediscovered my love of earlier musical outtings by the band and a new way to make my boring commute a bit fun. Overall, the game is extremely fun to play. But, and there are a few, it needs an update to improve my 3-star ranking. When playing "Lovers in Japan" it is incredibly frustrating that each time one gets closer to Revenge level, as the colors change, the game sticks, making one think they missed a note. My other complaint is a clearly innacurate count on percent accuracy. I have many times missed one single note only to find my rating at 96%. I'd like to see what the total taps are vs. what I hit, i.e 496 of 500. With these two changes, and the addition of more songs, I'd easily rank Tap Tap Coldplay 5 stars.

Finally tap tap has put out some descent music, but there are only ten songs! I had a lot of fun playing it the first two days, but now it's really old.

You prevent any of your apps from being 5 stars with the lag placed in these songs. And there are certain areas where you can never make the tap due to a glitch. We shouldn't wait that long for an update.
