If you liked Tap Tap Revolution, then you will be hooked o this game. I wasn't suer if I should spend my money on this since I had TTR. I thought, what could be different? Bought it and....WOW! Amazing redesign and interface. The songs have awesome backgrounds to them, the bonus/unlockable levels are sweetness...and the menu where you select what song to play is impressive! The menu tells you how long the song is, and includes album art.

This game is AMAZING.

Definitely a must have if you've enjoyed the past Tap Tap games and if you like dance music!

This tap tap game blew my mind out! Its changing background colors and dancing people make it so much more interesting. But, there are problems.

I was just playing when it crashed. It was lagging, the arrows did not register, only maybe half of my taps would register. I was angry when it crashed, and entered the app store to write a scathing review. Lo and behold, an update appeared in the updates section, and it was for TTD. Those problems are gone. The tracks are almost all already favorites of mine, and the boss tracks are amazing. Buy.

If there wasn't so much lag I would for sure give it 5 stars. The video gets out of sync with the audio and catches back up causing missed notes even tho you know you hit it. I'll toss 2 more stars once the lag is fixed.

Tapulous has done it again. They created a brand new engine from which TTR will be based and are testing this great achievement with TTD! When I first saw TTD on the App Store, I wondered what they could have up their sleeves, and this blows it away 10 fold! I can't wait to see what other iPhone Gems they have in store for us! By far one of the most successful start-ups from this new platform! Keep the good work going, rock on guys!

At first I wasn't too happy with this game. I don't mean to brag, but I was honestly a top player on the charts for some songs on the original Tap Tap Revenge. I thought I could continue in this new game. But, I noticed a lot of lag at times (especially harder difficulties with more taps). I then realized that, due to the lag, when I would tap on time (I'd assume) it wouldn't register it and I'd either lose my 'Revenge' mode or not have the ability to get there after losing my multiplier. It frustrated me a lot that I couldn't even come close on the Global Charts.

even for a small patment for this app is worth it. i just tried it out and the colors and effects on this game are so nice looking.

If you didn't like the free Tap Tap Revenge game app then don't bother getting this, especially because this one costs a few bucks. But if you did like the free Revenge version and you like Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers, Justice, etc... and you don't mind spending a few dollars on a game for your iPhone/iPod Touch, then definitely buy this game! It is really fun when filling in time or you're in a 'feel like listening to trance/electronica/house/techno music' mood.

this game is amazing. it totally is better than the original tap tap revenge. i only have one concern, LAG! here are my pros and cons of the game.

The new interface is ubelievable and it makes you feel as if you are actually in the game playing music also the songs are great. The only thing I would like to see in a future update are many more songs because I beat the game in about an hour and for five dollars that is ridiculous. Otherwise I highly recommend this game and can't waiy for the next tap tap.

Two Words: Bloody Awesome

I have all the tap tap games and this one has the best quality. Finaly a game that is fun and hard. On the original tap tap it's a fun online game but this is a chalanging game with good graphics.

Definitely worth the money.

But maybe it's too bright. Even with my brightness halfway the colors on the default theme are very annoying and distracting, especially when you activate revenge. On the same subject, the notes on revenge look like crap, please update them. Here are some of the few fundamental problems I found with the game. One is that the leaderboards need cleaned up. It just needs to be spaced out better. Two is that the active backgrounds are cool but distracting, and they sometimes impale your playing. For example, on Technologic on Easy, the theme makes it very hard to find notes coming down on the very right. I'm not asking you to take away all these features, because they are attractive, but at least tone them down. There aren't many glitches in the game, but I have noticed that once in a while I know I hit a note but it says I missed, but that may just be me. The future does look good for Tap Tap though. I love all the different themes and I love the fact that you have to unlock songs to move on, even if I do want to go straight to Extreme :P. Will online be available for this game? I know it's not for the NiN edition but since this is sort of the test subject for the future TTR do you think we will see an online feature in the near future? And also I hope there will be future songs to download, as I do not see a Download option in this version. UPDATED REVIEW(12/08/08): Okay I have been able to fully test this game (except for two player) and I still am very excited but there are major fixes needed. First of all, it's a LOT harder to get 16th notes and even 8th notes in this game, compared to the original TTRevenge. The notes don't seem to flow anymore, and trust me, I'm not bad at either game, it's just so much harder to get streaks in this game, and not because of difficulty. I hope to see a future fix for this, or at least a fix to the engine before the updated TTR comes out... I love the double notes. They add a whole new element to the game, and I have been wanting them since the beginning of TTR (way way back into jail broken days). But I hate triple notes. I, and almost every other person I've ever seen playing this game, use thumbs to play. How the hell are we supposed to get three notes with two fingers. So today I switched my finger usage. I used my left thumb for the first row if notes, right pointer finger for middle row, and right middle for the very right notes. Within 5 minutes I got cramps, and that's only half of it. It's insanely harder to get the already almost impossible 8th and 16th notes. Please take away triple notes. Just a side note: I love the hold down notes, but same thing goes. It's hard to hold down the middle notes and alternate between the left and right parts with my left or right thumb, as I am forced to in a couple songs. But this isn't the most annoying part of the current update. All the songs you listed are ALL THE SONGS YOU GET, repeated in every single freaking level. And the extreme level doesn't even have a final song! What a RIPOFF! I am extremely dissapointed so far, and while the double notes and hold notes are exciting, they are overshadowed by the numerous amounts of errors and fundamental mistakes. Moved to two stars, hopefully the newest update will quench some of these errors...

The addition of multi-touch and long notes makes the game much more fun and challenging. I am experiencing a lot of issues with lag that sometimes causes notes not to register, and it occurs particularly at the beginning of a song and there is an unusually long pause once the song ends until the score screen comes up. However, they are promising an update that will fix these issues and I look forward to it.

This app is definately worth it. Much more challenging than Revenge, but awesome at the same time. Playing both Revenge and Dance will lead to alotta fun, so don't be afraid to buy Dance if you already have Revenge, even if you don't get both!

You must buy this app! Well worth the money

This is awesome, and I'm not really even into this kind of music. I got it because I love Daft Punk, and I've enjoyed playing every track so far. The new engine is wonderful. I can't wait for them to update the other Taps. The only reason I knocked off 0.2 stars is that it does lag a little at times. It didn't happen often, and it corrected itself quickly. All in all, this is a great game and I can't wait for the Weezer version.

I was a bit hesitant at first before buying this app. After finally reading about 50+ reviews and watching videos of it online, I bought it. And I'm not disappointed. The interface is gorgeous, the colors are vibrant. The songs really suit the Dance theme and they get your fingers working. A better departure from Tap Tap Revenge despite this not being free.

I love how it gives you the shorter areas or it falls faster. Great idea! - Music: Good Song picks. Fun to listen to many times and tap to. - The lines you hold I know from Other video games and this is a great feature I missed in Tap Tap Revenge. - Graphic Animations: I love how when you tap it gives the rings!!! Such a cool idea! CONS: - Music: Come on guys! THis is the 5 dollar version and the FREE version has downloadable tracks? This is BS.... At least have downloadable tracks or have a feature I thought was here..... The use of your own music in this game. - Song Length, one of the Boss Songs (Phantom Pt. II (Soulwax Remix)) is way to long. I don't have 7.5 minutes to spend more than once.... - Hardness: I found that this was almost easier than Tap Tap Revenge.... Although some of the hardest levels are not a walk in the park. When I shake the screen for the arrows, about 1/2 the time it doesn't work. I don't have this problem in either of the free Tap Tap Revenge games. Sometimes no shakes are registered for a full game, then everything is kosher on the next. This also means that 8x points sometimes are inaccessible! I would give this game 5***** if it were just reliable! Beautifully done graphics. Moby's just blows me away every time.

This app is great, but there should be contests on it just like tap tap revenge. I always play this app when i am bored. This app is a must have for the ipod touch. Also you should be able to download songs onto it. It is really addicting. The first day i got it i beat it. GET IT!!!!!
