Apple's All-Time Top 10 Paid iPhone Apps
Calendar16 Wed, 19 Jan 2011 22:40:36 UTC +00:00
Looking for some great paid Apps? We've already looked at the good free stuff. As we mentioned with those free applications, with everything the App market has to offer, it's hard to find stuff that's worth your time. With paid Apps, not only do you want the download to be worth your time, you want it to be worth your money. Yeah, 99 cents is almost nothing, but it adds up, especially when there are a lot of junk apps out there.   Let's take a look at the stuff that gets more attention:     1) Doodle Jump – 99 cents The App description even makes sure to remind us that it's the all-time top paid iPhone App in the US App Store. We are sure they are pretty happy about that (We'd be just as thrilled). It's a simple little game in which you play that little doodle Read More
There are many people right now who received an iPhone or iPod Touch for Christmas this year. Many of them may or may not yet know their way around iOS, the operating system that those iDevices run on. Most essential, to begin with, are the Apps. You’ve all heard the old catchphrase “There’s an App for that.” Well, that’s because there often is. Let’s take a look at some the essential free iPhone Apps (or iPad and iPod Touch). Please note that the App descriptions are as they appear on the  App Store: AOL Radio powered by CBS Radio features over 350+ free stations spanning dozens of music genres, including pop, urban, country, indie, jazz, oldies and rock. Also choose from over 150+ popular terrestrial stations across the United States from CBS Radio including The World Famous KROQ, WXRT, 1010 WINS AM, The Fan, 92.3 Now FM and more. Now with Read More
Disney kauft ‘Tap-Tap’-Tapulous
Calendar16 Fri, 02 Jul 2010 09:53:09 UTC +00:00
8 Great iPhone Games for Kids (According to Kids)
Calendar16 Fri, 26 Feb 2010 18:30:39 UTC +00:00
My family is originally from Ecuador, and I recently got the opportunity to go back to the land of my birth and spend a few months living there. During that time I’ve been staying with my aunt and uncle and as a result have gotten to see a lot of their grandchildren. These four precocious girls, ranging in age from five to 11, were delighted by my iPhone the first time I showed it to them and now, each time they visit, my iPhone is appropriated for a while so they can play games on it. Seeing how much they enjoyed the games I had on there, I went out and bought a bunch of additional games to give them some variety, and now have almost 40 on my iPhone, most of them aimed at a younger audience. Curious about which games they enjoyed the most, I asked each to list Read More
25 iPhone Games That Should Rock on the iPad
Calendar16 Thu, 04 Feb 2010 22:53:02 UTC +00:00
Posted 02/04/2010 at 2:53pm | by Andrew Hayward Apple's iPad announcement event didn't put an especially large focus on the gaming possibilities of the new device, but what was shown demonstrated how easily developers can modify current iPhone and iPod touch apps with just a brief time investment. We've already seen how updated versions of N.O.V.A. and Need for Speed: Shift will take advantage of the iPad, but it got us thinking -- how might some of the other best-selling or beloved iPhone games use the iPad's updated features to enhance the existing experience? Here's our list of 25 games we'd love to see enhanced for the iPad, but if you have your own dream app upgrade in mind, be sure to let us know in the comments! We love swapping Bejeweled 2's shimmering gems on our Macs, but we also dig the tactile feeling of actually flipping the gems in Read More

The Signal 53: CES 2010 Wrap-Up and First Vidcast EVAR
Calendar16 Mon, 18 Jan 2010 19:45:56 UTC +00:00
CES is dead like a doornail, and so are we. CES was busy with plenty of news, so Will and I take ten minutes to run through some of the more interesting items at the show, including new devices, apps, and technologies. Yeah, it’s a little short (especially for CES when so much was going on), and the lighting’s not so hot, and the audio could have been a bit clearer, but damnit, we were determined to do our first video podcast from that awesome view of The Strip. We’re playing with the idea of doing a vidcast regularly as part of The Signal, but for the first go, we didn’t want to make you sit in front of our ugly mugs for a full half-hour. Let us know what you think of the format, and if it’s something you dig, we’ll take another stab at it soon. Would you show Read More
Hope you’ve all recovered from New Years festivities, because CES is next week… Alright everybody, holidays are over – big mobile news is coming from all directions next week, and we’ve got to shake off the eggnog and keep our heads straight. Will joins us for the first post-holiday podcast, and we talk about a lot of what’s coming at the Consumer Electronics show, namely the new from Google, T-Mobile, and HTC. iTablet rumours have persisted throughout December, and we talk a bit about their repercussions and solidity. Verizon has been having a bit of a squabble with the FCC regarding increased ETF rates, so Will and I talk about consumer rights, and commercial imperative. Of course, nobody walks away from The Signal without having a chance at some free loot. This go-around, we have a free subscription to NBA’s League Pass Mobile service, which lets you watch games (both live and replay) Read More

Put down the drumstick, put on your headphones, and pick up the drumstick again. Since Will is off enjoying delicious mountains of mashed potatoes, gravy and turkey this week, Stefan and I handle the week’s wireless news.  There’s not too much going on, but it’s mostly Android related. Analysts dig up GPhone rumours once more, so we go over why it’s a terrible idea, and there’s also concern about Gameloft’s involvement with Android, and whether or not the iPhone is too big for developers to ignore. Stefan also gives us his take on the Nokia X6 that’s now shipping, which is ample opportunity to rip into Comes with Music a little more. In terms of giveaways, we have a grand total of fifteen iSkins for BlackBerry to hand out. iSkins offer stylish protection for your phone, U.S. readers who have a Bold 9000, Curve 8900, or Storm 9530/9500, just have to Read More
Could Windows Mobile really be catching up? Between the opening of the Marketplace for Windows Mobile 6.0 and 6.1, and some leaks about the upcoming version 7, it sounds like Microsoft is getting ready for a big push. Will is out judging Under the Radar, but we tap Windows Mobile blogger and Microsoft MVP Darren Humphries from MobileJaw for his take on the platform in the face of fresh competition on the smartphone circuit. We also talk about legal squabbles between carriers over “misleading” ads. Of course, we never want to leave our listeners empty-handed – this week we’re giving out a Scosche reCOIL to one commenter in the U.S. It’s handy, simple car charger for the iPhone whose cable is retractable for easy stowing when not in use. Normally it retails for $29.99, but you can nab it for free just by leaving a comment. Hit the jump to get Read More
The Signal 47: BlackBerry Developer Conference Edition
Calendar16 Thu, 12 Nov 2009 22:02:27 UTC +00:00
BBDC was unexpectedly busy – hear how the devs feel about it all! If you haven’t been following, the 2009 BlackBerry Developer Conference was the source of a lot of big announcements, like OpenGL support enabling some rich 3D graphics, an Adobe partnership that cements Flash on BlackBerry, and a long-overdue LinkedIn app. This episode of The Signal focuses a lot on themes, as we have the fine folks from BlackBerry Theme Park and themes4bb giving us our take on the new Theme Builder Studio. The winner of the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Partner’s Fund challenge, James Shannon from DevelopIQ, gives us some feedback from the app developer side, and how all of the various announcements impact the 7digital music store. No conference is complete without hooking up with some fellow bloggers – Ronen Halevy from BerryReview and Kevin Michaluk from CrackBerry weigh in on the show overall, and what RIM’s future Read More
Two more Canadian HSPA networks = a whole lot more devices Bell and telus both kicked off their HSPA networks this week, with a lot of new phones to take advantage. Of course, in the U.S., droid mania has kicked in, and we give some thoughts and impressions of the HTC Eris. On the giveaway chopping block, we’ve got the smooth, simple Motorola H790 Bluetooth headset for one lucky U.S. commenter in this very post. Hit the jump to get started! [podcast]http://www.mediafire.com/file/zgygmzm2jao/signal46.mp3[/podcast] Simon Sage’s education largely surrounded writing, technology and online community, leading him to begin his blogging career at www.BlackBerryCool.com and to quickly discover a vibrant and active community surrounding BlackBerry and mobile technology. In exploring RIM’s platform, he has learned what enterprises are looking for in mobility as well as what makes the innocuous BlackBerry so appealing to them. Recently Simon’s been covering RIM’s gradual move into an already-crowded Read More
Motorola’s back in the game with droid. Motorola’s droid launch captures all of our attention this week, spanning from hands-on impressions of the hardware, Android 2.0 and what the freshly-included turn-by-turn navigation system means for traditional PNDs. So far, the Motorola’s will be the Android handset to beat, but Sony Ericsson’s X10 may very quickly grab that claim. We take a few questions from twitter, which are always welcome at either our @IntoMobile account, or directly to our editors, @WillPark, @SimonSage, or @GJCAG. Thanks to @acurrie, @Phonedog_Noah, @samrsdad, and @moosc for the questions! As usual, we’ve got some toys to giveaway: two Tenqa stereo Bluetooth speakers, so you can stream your tunes from your phone out to whatever room suits your fancy. Entry criteria are a little bit different, this round, though; instead of leaving a comment, you’re going to have to listen to the podcast for our secret password, then Read More
Yeah, yeah, we know, we’re a little late. Sorry for the delay, y’all – between recovering from CTIA, and some technical difficulties, the podcast fell to the wayside for a few weeks, but we’re back on track now. San Diego had a few treats in store for us, like the and the Behold II, but there was a lot happening with T-Mobile both before and after CTIA: the details of Project Dark came to light, so Will and I hashed out what hardware financing means for American wireless (mostly good things). On the downside, T-Mobile Sidekick data outage was a big blow to the brand’s credibility, and we wonder if cloud computing really is all it’s cracked up to be. Of course we have more toys to give away – this time two pairs of in-ear headphones from Ifroz, specifically the EarPollution Timbres, with in-line microphone. Wooden gadgets are pretty sweet Read More

As long as they’re iPhone (or iPod touch) related, they’re fair game. So who’s on deck this week and what are our picks? Find out after the break! This app rocks for several reasons including the ability to send invites to friends via email with store location info and more for meetings, etc. You can also create your own hot or cold beverage, save and share with your friends. A complete food list is accessible as well and if you are looking for coffee bean details, they can be found here too. [Free - iTunes link] I am trying to Read More
Why are these big-name Android and webOS developers getting stomped on? This week’s IntoMobile podcast has Will, Stefan and I talk a lot about Cyanogen and JWZ, what role platform managers have in app distribution, and if they should be sticking their nose into “unofficial” software scenes. We also touch on the possibility of the Palm Pre coming to America’s top carrier, Verizon, as well as a rumoured Apple acquisition and what it means for Google’s Latitude service on the iPhone. American listeners, we’re giving away a Commuter Series OtterBox case for one of the following phones. For your two chances to win, leave a comment in this post and tweet with the hashtag #intomobile with which device you’re packing. The three of us run down some mobile productivity options, but we didn’t get any questions, unfortunately. If there’s any questions or topics you’d like us to chew on in the Read More
The Signal #42: Tickled Pink and MiFi Hotspot Giveaway
Calendar16 Fri, 25 Sep 2009 22:12:42 UTC +00:00
We’ve finally seen what’s coming out of Microsoft’s Project Pink – was it worth the hype? We manage to muster up four of our editors for another show, and although things get a little silly, we cover all the week’s big topics, like the rumour of Nokia buying up Palm, Google and Apple’s GVoice spat escalating to the FCC, as well as what the FCC could (or should) be regulating when it comes to carriers. Last week we kicked off our giveaway for the Novatel portable Wi-Fi hotspot, and will be contacting our British winner shortly. Now you guys in the U.S. can enter to win a CDMA MiFi -  just drop a comment in this post and tweet using the #intomobile hashtag. A couple of Americans already entered last week, and we’ll be sure to include them in the giveaway, but if you haven’t yet, why not throw your name Read More
Curious about something in wireless? Drop us a line, we’ll see if we can hash out an answer. This episode, Stefan and I run through the recently-released Opera 5 Beta, which, although isn’t quite finished, is a hugely impressive third-party mobile browser. An update to Android is looming, and we briefly go over some of the new features, but the most interesting news this week has got to be rumours of T-Mobile snatching up Sprint. Even if it doesn’t happen, it’s a cool thought experiment. You might have seen Will playing with the Novatel portable Wi-Fi hotspot earlier this summer. If you were remotely impressed, you’ll be happy to hear we’ve managed to fanangle two for giveaway! This week we’re going to give one out to a lucky U.K. listener, and next week we’ll be giving away the other in the U.S. How do you enter? Drop a comment in this Read More
Man, everyone gets a little jumpy when Apple has an announcement, eh? Palm, HTC, and Motorola all announced new handsets this week, conveniently close to Apple’s iPod event, but timing aside, Motorola’s cannonball into the Android pool is bound to make some waves. Stefan was busy shmoozing it up at the Helsinki twestival, but Will gives us his hands-on impressions of the Cliq. This episode we’re giving away a Yubz Magnum, which is a portable stereo Bluetooth speaker for whatever smartphone you happen to be rocking. This beaut is available in four different kinds of leather, and normally retails for around $109.95. U.S. listeners can drop a comment or tweet with the hashtag #intomobile for a chance to win their own. There’s a lot more going on – hit the jump and be sure to check out the Releases section for other devices outed this week. – iTunes – RSS – Read More
User-Generated Advertising Comes to the iPhone
Calendar16 Sun, 06 Sep 2009 07:34:01 UTC +00:00
20th Century Fox has tapped Tapulous, the company behind the most popular iPhone game, "Tap Tap Revenge," to run what it says is the first user-generated-content campaign on the Apple handset and help it target a demographic "sweet spot." Adage reports. For the game's background, users can choose from a gallery of movie stills, most of which feature the film's provocative star, Megan Fox, plus a palette of colors and shapes to help fill in the rest of the game's visual canvas. The more artistically inclined can download a file containing additional movie assets. Read More
Our illustrious UK author, Ben Robinson, joins us from IntoMobile Towers this episode! The Signal grows again, now that we’ve got four writers linking up for this week’s episode. This week’s top news is a bit of a mish-mash. The N900 rocks the roost for top story, and Stefan gives us his expert take on Maemo and the new Nokia (NYSE: NOK) handset that straddles MID and smartphone categories nicely. Ben tells us about CoPilot Live, a navigation app for iPhone he’s been trying out, Will gives us the run-down on Google (NSDQ: GOOG)’s crowdsourcing for traffic data, and I talk about the huge accessories market and how surprising (or not) the figures are. As for giveaways, this week we’re tossing out some invisibleSHIELDs for the or 3GS to our U.S. listeners. These bad boys offer excellent scratch protection for your beloved precious without the added bulk of a full case, Read More
The Signal #37: Maemo Emerges and HTC Magic Giveaway
Calendar16 Fri, 21 Aug 2009 18:45:47 UTC +00:00
With shots of Maemo coming out, it looks like Symbian has a future after all… It was tricky talking about Maemo and its appearance on the unreleased N900 without Stefan around this week, but Will and I make do, as well as chat about Apple’s relationship with carriers, the iPhone’s profitability, and its potential expansion into China. Our HTC Magic from Vodafone giveaway rolls on for another week for the UK readers, so be sure to enter while you still can. There are four ways to go about it – be sure to do ‘em all to maximize your odds! Our review goes over the Magic in detail, but the bottom line is that it’s a slick, smooth, functional smartphone that is most definitely worth the trouble of dropping a comment. If you’re looking to enter, be sure to go over the terms and conditions at the end of the post. Read More
I bet Tamara Hope is making wispy, existential analogies about your GPS position right now… Will, Stefan and I run down the week’s mobile news, with Palm’s policies on location and Pre app tracking taking up a big part of the episode, but we also go over Microsoft and Nokia’s burgeoning love affair and what it means for Windows Mobile (if anything). New information on the upcoming Zer01 service has Will completely reneging his (and many others’) previous enthusiasm for the prospect of unlimited VoIP calls and data for $70/month. Our giveaway this episode is the biggest yet: an HTC Magic from Vodafone. Yes, that means it’s for our UK readers, and because it’s a doozy, we’ll be running it for two weeks and offering four ways to enter. If you’re wondering how she runs, be sure to take a look at our review – personally, I was personally very impressed. Read More
Never put it past Apple to piss off the world two weeks in a row. Between censoring dictionary apps and Eric Schmidt leaving the board of directors, we’ve got plenty more Apple drama this week. Will and I run down the Apple review process, as well as follow up on the Apple/Google relationship talk from last week. Unfortunately Stefan wasn’t around to elaborate on his excellent tirade on the mythical iTablet, but we give our own relatively moderate takes on the situation. Our giveaway this week is the BlackBerry VM-605 Bluetooth Visor, which normally retails for $84.99, is  a fine accessory if your handset doesn’t support FM transmission. By simply pairing up by Bluetooth and setting your car radio tuner, you can shunt your phone calls and music to the stereo system with minimal fuss. A single-button control system lets you pause music and initiate voice-activated dialing without being distracted by Read More
We’ve got a new Apps of the Week segment! Waddayathink? Will, Stefan and I are back for this week’s IntoMobile podcast – a lot of dramatic news this week, including suicides, slicing up bankrupt wireless giants, and widespread service outages. We take some time to talk about Google’s use of Safari for their iPhone implementation of Latitute and what signal it sends to Apple about web apps. We’re also introducing a new Apps of the Week segment, where we each tackle an app for a different platform, but all surrounding a common theme. We went with “summer” as a fairly general thing, but are open to suggestions for future episodes. We’re extending the Joggler giveaway for our UK readers. As ever, you can enter in one of three ways: In short, the Joggler is a home media and communication hub that retails for £149 Contest terms and conditions at the end Read More
The Signal #31: Androidy Week and SanDisk Giveaway
Calendar16 Fri, 10 Jul 2009 22:40:27 UTC +00:00
So, who’s holding out for Rachael? What’s a Hero? This week is dominated by Android news, predominately by our first look at Sony Ericsson’s new Xperia model code-named Rachael, as well as smashed rumours regarding Nokia picking up Android. Will and I close up our discussions regarding the Touch Pro 2 and the N97, and Stefan sums up his talk with the UI tech manager at Symbian (definitely worth a listen, if you didn’t catch it earlier this week). Participation in the Vuzix iWear giveaway last week was great, but we’ve chosen our winner – Michael Welcher, congratulations! Thanks to everyone for the enthusiasm, and for listening! This week, we’re giving away ar 16 GB microSD card from SanDisk; you know the drill, drop a comment and you’ve got a chance to pick yours up. If that doesn’t quite do it for you, you should check out their 60 Second Mobile Read More
The Signal Podcast #30: Prodigal Sons and iWear Giveaway
Calendar16 Fri, 03 Jul 2009 18:07:27 UTC +00:00
Well, well, well. Look who came crawlin’ back. Well, not really crawling; it’s awesome having Stefan back. This week we’ve managed to wrestle time zone issues down and got the prodigal son, Stefan Constantinescu, to get on the weekly podcast. Considering his time at Nokia, we go over the N97 a fair bit in preparation for our head-to-head review with the Touch Pro 2. The Android-powered Hero gets sufficiently gushed over, as well as the introduction of HTC’s Sense user interface. We’ve got a fresh giveaway this week – you might have seen Ben writing about Vuzix here, there and everywhere, and now we’ve got a pair to give away! These glasses work with iPhones, computers with S-Video and any mobile phone with video out to provide an immersive multimedia experience.  This particular model, the AV310, usually retails for $249.95, so it’s well worth your while to drop a comment for Read More
iPhone App Roundup: Sirius XM, Bento, DocsToGo and more
Calendar16 Sun, 21 Jun 2009 05:42:34 UTC +00:00
Big week, eh? For most of us, the iPhone OS 3.0 was exciting enough: cut and paste, full search, in-app purchases, voice memos and landscape keyboard support. And don’t forget MMS and tethering… Oh wait, never mind. AT&T sure does know how to kill an iPhone owner’s buzz. Fortunately, Apple knew how to bring the party back to life – 3G S style. But even during the week of OS 3.0 and the 3G S, apps kept flowing into our inbox. Here’s a look at a handful of them: App #1: Sirius XM made some headlines this week, and it wasn’t all good news. They finally launched their long awaited iPhone app (Sirius XM Premium Online) — without some of their most popular channels. That said, I got a chance to tinker with it a bit and was pretty impressed. Even over the EDGE network, I found the sound quality to Read More
It’s funny what people will line up for these days, isn’t it? So yeah, there was a lot of noise about the S this week, but all of the other big names were sure to crowd the day with their own launches to shoulder their way into the spotlight. RIM let loose the BlackBerry 9630 Tour, Samsung unloaded five handsets in a remarkable display of confusion, and LG also squeezed out an E71ish device this week. Will and I also go over the rash of augmented reality apps that were popping up and the role of magnetic compasses in the proliferation of similar types of apps. You might have heard that we gave away three Ses (in gift certificate form) to some lucky readers this week – this go-round we’re catching our breath and giving away some IntoMobile t-shirts to three lucky readers. Drop a comment, and you’re in! Speaking of Read More
The new demands a lot of attention, but Verizon Palm Pre, anyone? Of course the hype of WWDC wasn’t exactly justified with the ‘ modest, incremental upgrades, but who’ll complain about a new iPhone, especially with the price cuts to the original iPhone? Will and I also run down what’s happening with Verizon and their supposed claim to the Palm Pre in 2010, as well as how the Eos’ future depends on its performance. Nokia gets some time in the limelight, as we patiently await the N97 in the mail and jealously glance at other reviews floating around. Our TeleNav giveaway to three lucky readers continues this week; leave a comment, and you’ll have a chance to win a year’s worth of some fine, fine GPS navigation software for your mobile. Only U.S. residents are eligible, but we’ll work on a prize for international readers next week. Also, be sure to Read More
Magic is in the air up north, and so is swine flu. Simon’s back after a nasty run-in with a non-pork-related flu, and managed to rally in time to go to the Rogers’ HTC Magic and Dream launch event in Toronto. Android sure took its sweet time coming to Canada, so Will and I speculate a bit on the timing and iPhone considerations, but lots of other news went down over the last two weeks. AT&T’s ’09 lineup got completely spilled, and we run down some of the new handsets, like the BlackBerry Magnum and some frumpy-looking Nokias. Of course, the Palm Pre launches tomorrow on Sprint, and we take one last stab at how the stock situation will affect the launch, as well as consider some of the early reviews. This week we’re giving away a year’s worth of TeleNav mobile navigation service to three lucky commenters from the U.S. Read More
Apple Hits 1 Billion App Store Downloads!
Calendar16 Thu, 23 Apr 2009 23:24:28 UTC +00:00
Apple was expected to serve up their 1 Billionth (with a capital B) App Store download today, and lo and behold, Apple has announced that they’ve officially seen 1 billion iPhone/iPod Touch applications downloaded from their iTunes App Store! In less than a full year of existence, Apple and the iPhone have managed to make mobile applications as commonplace as an iTunes music purchase, and the App Store’s popularity continues to grow. The total tally of iPhone applications in the iPhone AppStore was estimated to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 25,000 in March 2009. And, with thousands more iPhone applications hitting the AppStore on a monthly basis, Apple’s success with their integrated mobile application delivery model will likely continue. No wonder everyone and their grandmother are trying to launch mobile application stores of their own. For the record, it took Apple six whole months to reach the 500-million milestone. From Read More

Calendar16 Sun, 19 Apr 2009 20:56:04 UTC +00:00
Does Apple really have that much of a stranglehold on multitouch? News might have been a little light this week, but we still manage to bring some good listening this episode, as we have patent attorney Barry Negrin from Pryor Cashman to run us through Apple’s legal situation with multi-touch. Elan had initiated legal action aginst the iPhone manufacturer last week, so we thought it might be worth exploring how the patents affect Apple and other handset manufacturers, like Palm. Put your iPhone in the air and shake it like you just don’t care, because it’s time for my pick from the week’s freshest apps. Before you start waving your iPhone with a blatant disregard for those around you due to the sheer excitement you feel from reading about the latest apps, I’ve got a brief rundown of the week’s news. We began the week with news that Buy.com had begun offering unlocked iPhone 3Gs for purchase. As such, it’s looking increasingly like it’s time for stockists to clear their inventory and prepare for the impending arrival of the next iPhone. And at only $799 for your very own legit unlocked iPhone, you may as well take two. Staying with the subject of unlocked iPhone’s, our own Clayton Lai posted a new guide as part of his Jailbreak article series. Clayton covers the myriad options available for owners of jailbroken iPhones Read More

SDK
Nick H-town 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
The reason why you can't and will not be able to play your own songs is because: The iPhone SDK won't let you access iTunes_control files, so maybe if enough people complain we can get them to change that. There is no way in any application to access your own music so they are going to have to update the songs. But other than that this game is amazing and you all should be extremely appreciative that he doesn't charge $9.99 for it. Great game.
amazing, no complaints

this is way more than i expected for a free game. its kinda like guitar hero for an iphone and best of all its free!!! click yes if you like this game to!
Very polished and nice, But original Tap tap Revolution was a bit better
mmvit 4.0 stars Version: 1.0
This one iss very nice and plays well, but im definatly missing the "itunes library" feature from the original revolution game
Lot's of potential, but crippled right now.
:p atrick 4.0 stars Version: 1.0
It's fun! It's addicting! It's intuitive! The visuals are great! But there are few song selections and there aren't any songs for download. I think the game would be better if each column were assigned to a sound or an instrument, more like Guitar Hero. I'm not comparing the two, only suggesting that using their system would greatly improve the already wonderful app. Let's hope the developer keeps it free and updates it frequently. Good job and everyone DOWNLOAD THIS APP! It's worth it.
Addctive, Fun, and EXPANDABLE
GoldenChaos 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
Tapulous is doing great things, and it's a shame more of their apps aren't making it into the App Store quick enough - probably due to the "line cutting" of other, less reputable developers.
Addictive

Tap Tap Revolution
edwurdords 3.0 stars Version: 1.0
I prefer tap tap revolution which is in installer (for jailbroken iphones and ipod touch). You can play with songs in your library which is cool. not like the 2 or 3 songs they have. they will probably make us pay if we want more songs.
really worth your time
Onyx Angel 5.0 stars Version: 1.0
i really like this app but when are we gonna be able to get new tracks and the iTunes libary would make this app all more the worth, i cant believe its free, good job apple and get back to us with the updates.
Unresponsive and now negative scores
40young 1.0 stars Version: 1.2
Use to be one of my favorites. I've tried deleting app from my phone; rebooting phone adding app from my pc to phone; still Tap Tap is unresponsive when I tap the balls. Oh, I shouldn't say unresponsive because when you tap on the balls it pauses the game. This is a good program but after the update, I doesn't work. And this is the only app that I'm having problems with. Support? They are only interested in the # of people who are having problems, 1gen or 3g, delete the app, reboot your phone, add app from itunes. They will not reply back to you a second time. App removed for now.
I loved this game but update ruined gameplay
Crimson Shin 2.0 stars Version: 1.2
I've read reviews upon review upon reviews and first of all the adds are fine. All the new songs just make this game even better. The update improves alot of aspects of this game. However, the game play has gone down significantly. First of all, i never knew where the perfect spot to hit the dots to get the most points. I still feel that that is sorta unclear. But my biggest issue is now the game isnt even reading my taps. At first i thought it was just me but then i tried a song on the easy difficulty level. i spent half the game trying to get up from a negative score. There needs to be an update to enhance gameplay ASAP because right now, that app isn't gonna be open on my iphone. Also, can you please show where the sweet spot it to get the most points with a single tap, im still clueless. Is it when its on the line? right before the line??????
wow

idontwantanicknamethankyou 3.0 stars Version: 1.2
They neglected to mention that the new version is turning into adware! It ws fun while it lasted but if I cannot figure out how to downgrade to the older version then I guess I am done. Thanks for the warning Tapulous.

Love it!
Neat game.
ttrygve 4.0 stars Version: 1.0
Though I haven't exactly gotten hooked on the game, it is a neat idea, and well implemented. My only real complaint is that in addition to tapping, you're sometimes asked to shake the phone in certain directions, which I found very difficult to do while still focusing on what's coming down the lines for me to do next, but they definitely get lots of credit for making that an optional feature you can turn off.
Very cool
Gainon85 5.0 stars Version: 1.2
