The user interface is very simple and helpful. This app comes in handy if you don't have unlimited texts or have a time limit that blocks texts during a certain time of day. The only suggestion I have is to include an option for custom ringtones. The stock ringtones are sometimes hard to hear or can get annoying after a while. Works perfectly fine for text messaging but phone calls are absolutely terrible. Every time I call someone, Ill hear the ring, then it stops when the person answers, they can hear me but I can't hear them. If I mess with the speaker button, then it works. Has a long delay, and on one occasion, I could not end the call. I pressed end call over and over and had to pull my battery out to stop it.

It is better than all the texting apps I used. I have been using it for over a year. Just pay attention to the settings, don't choose to tell your friends about it because all your contacts will be showered with text messages, also make sure you don't choose to get your texts in textplus and your original text app.

I want to sync texting between devices. Tried other apps, but they constantly made me log in each time I changed devices. Text+ syncs all my devices instantly. I can start a conversation on my tablet, and continue it on my phone with no problem. Have not had a problem with notifications or freezes. When I receive a text, I get the notification on both devices.

Love it, my son is in Costa Rica for April Vacation, and I didn't wanna send him with his phone. I gave him a spare Iphone we had and we all down loaded this app, I have to be honest it was a risk, but it paid off. App does everything it says.....eventually. texts often get delayed, stuck, duplicated, or any other glitch you can think of. Just this morning it prompted me to update to 5.2 upon launch, then after I tried it just reverted me back to the current version and I couldn't continue prior conversations. It used to be an amazing app for me but now it runs slow and never alerts me like it used to over texts. Half the time my texts won't even send when I send them and it's always doing this. I hope you can fix this problem.

Just to let everyone know, I'm NOT a drone! I'll set the limit on how many stars you'll get. Got it!? GOOD! Now then, I've thoroughly tested Text Plus free for several months now. It has performed Flawlessly. Wifi connection issues were the only thing tripping up the app. Not it's problem, just mine. I'll give 20 Stars if a speaker phone option is added! Fantastic Clarity, Crisp, Clean, and sonically accurate audio to boot. Great job! Also choice of bubbles and color themes etc. Would also be, well, Fun!

This app has changed the way I handle text and calls. I use my tablet and my android cell to get unlimited texting on both. I also loaded a hotspot app on my tablet so that I can connect an android phone (that isn't being used with sny cell phone carrier) via wifi and make CHEAP calls on it! I never use more than 500 minutes a month and it costs less than $10 for those minutes with textplus. Enjoy the savings!

I like that you can view/send/receive your regular text messages in the same app, in a separate tab. Very convenient. The only thing that bothers me is that compared to other SMS applications that I've used such as Viber, this app is quite slow when I sent/receive a textplus message from my friends. ...I have motorola's xt910 phone. I held off on upgrading to the new version as I hoped they fix some bugs first. Kudos to them on fixing the conversation threads freezing rather often, but now push notifications seem to be not working at all. All in all solid app, looking forward to next update

For all of you anti-sleep teens out there (like me), this is a great app! There are these things called Communities that you can join and meet people the same age as you or with similar intrests! I have a huge group of friends I met on here and we're really good friends now. We talk almost every night and some times we even invite our real-world friends to join us. It's a blast. I have a number on here with my local area code too to give to people I don't really like/know (you know how it is :P). Great app!

Works great if you plan on only texting. Has a nice pop-up box set-up so yur text open quick, but slows when you actually open the app, so try using only the pop boxes. The calling is terrible though and always fails (fix this 4 5 stars) and app works on low signal too, so great for free, I recommend textplus :)

I like concept behind the application but hate: 1. It doesn't save all the history of your conversation. What's the use of the app if you can't reference back to previous messages. Can't use this for business purposes at ALL. 2. Its constantly refreshing but doesn't always update you when a new message arrives. 3. It sometimes duplicates the messages. 4. Your unable to save the voice notes before they disappear 5. Small problem: your unable to update or change the theme... Other than that I like it!!!!

I tend to keep my tablet with me more than my phone, so this is great for helping me stay connected. I wish it would not delete texts as they got older, but the one small annoyance is not enough to disregard using this app.

There are two main faults with this app. Poor batt life because there is no way to stop the background service without resorting to killing it. Expect a modern Galaxy phone to be dead in less than 4 hrs. Also when using the app to send a text it will load the ads after the screen is painted. So when I am about to touch the screen, my intended target is moved. Really annoying. The ad space should be permanent or load the ads first.

Great! I only have a few complaints. First, I don't like when it refreshes a lot. Second, notifications are too loud. I wish I could control the volume. Last, the character limit is annoying and wish messages could "split" instead of typing a full message and then sending it to type another, which is a bit annoying if you're a heavy texter like me. Overall, great app and gets the job done! Sends messages quick and they always go through.

its a great app. My phone is off and I had no way to get in contact with my boyfriend and friends and family. Now I can talk to them again. The only problem is that I don't get the notifications and the pop up message like I used to. So I might miss a message from someone. I have to go into the app and wait for it to load in order to know I got a new message. But good app. Just fix the problem. I could miss something important.
