The Finger is a novelty app created by the makers of Enigmo and Cro-Mag Rally. The purpose of this application is to formulate unique animations using hundreds of different hand gestures. Along with being funny, this app is also useful to the hearing impaired. Upon startup, three choices are given. “Pose” lets you create your own unique hand gesture by moving around joints on a replica of a human hand. “Animate” lets you take gestures that you have created, or one of the many included, and piece them together into an animation. “Quick Play” enables you to play the last animation you were working on. What would you think about the application called Finger? Well, for one thing, I thought it will make me use my middle finger less in daily interactions with people. But wait, it’s not like that. Quite the contrary, the Finger app (it still sounds awkward) is all about watching and creating animated gestures of a hand on the screen of your iPhone or iPod Touch. For instance, you can make the hand punch, wave, give a thumbs-up, and (of course) give the finger… It looks pretty cool, as you’re about to see for yourself in a demo video bellow, it may be worth 2 bucks ($1.99).
