The World Factbook really is a great app and extremely useful to me! It provides quick access to essential and interesting information about countries, territories, places. There are also global entries for the European Union, the World, Oceans and a lot more. The database covers all countries! It has full search capability and definitions for things you don't know what they mean.

I have to say that this is a very useful and interesting app! There is a wealth of information here, with all the latest stats and facts regarding every country you can imagine and many I didn't even know existed! All of the data is up to date and covers areas that I wouldn't have expected but are very interesting to know about, for example it lists all the major environmental treaties and agreements to which a particular country is a member, all transnational disputes between nations are covered, it even contains information regarding drug smuggling operations. The whole program simple to use and fast. More like this please!

By and large, this is an interesting app. However, it suffers from a couple of relatively minor usability issues. When you search, the iPhone keyboard is stuck on the screen with no way to get rid of it, which limits the ability to just browse through the list and select the country. You also can't zoom in our out on the maps. The scale is so tight that you can't really see a lot of what lies immidiately outside the borders of the country you are viewing. I would also appreciate more recent history.

An excellent way to have geographic, political, economic, historical, and many other facts about all the countries of the world, many I'm sure you don't even know exist. This app is fun to just skim, but it will also answer those nagging question that come up from time to time that you don't know the answer to, and may not be sure where to turn. I have to say that this is a very useful and interesting app! There is a wealth of information here, with all the latest stats and facts regarding every country you can imagine and many I didn't even know existed! All of the data is up to date and covers areas that I wouldn't have expected but are very interesting to know about, for example it lists all the major environmental treaties and agreements to which a particular country is a member, all transnational disputes between nations are covered, it even contains information regarding drug smuggling operations. The whole app is simple to use and very fast. More like this please.

I was thrilled to read the overviews of the countries and learn their flags. So far, this app has been very useful. I love the section that shows where the country is located, and an overview of the history, politics, geography and general information about the country.
