Do you love the sound of thunder and rain? Are you willing to spend $9.99 for incredible sound reproduction? Then this is for you. Close your eyes, turn off the lights, and reach for your umbrella. This is VERY convincing. The stereo is astounding--even on earbuds. It is pricey and many people may decide it's not worth it. But for those who love these sort of apps, this is actually less expensive than a full length cd download on itunes. And with this, you get a timer, endless looping, etc.

I don't usually write reviews, but feel compelled to do so. I had downloaded the first Nature Space application and was looking forward to any new content that was released. I have gone to their web site and found a decent library of additional scenes that go into your music library. This is an excellent addition to the original content, but in a new application. The audio quality is unmatched with anything in its category. It really creates a visual image through the 3-D sound. I find it very relaxing to put on, close my eyes and let my mind wander. The sleep timer is a nice addition.

I am a huge Naturespace fan, so when this came out today I bought it immediately. I've been listening to it for over an hour now and I'm still hearing new stuff. These thunderstorms just keep going and going. The sound is exactly what I expected from Naturespace, simply the best nature sound period. My favorite so far is Loki, really cool mood. Thor is totally bombastic, great on earbuds but my Sennheiser headphones really do it justice. The rains are very nice to relax to, and so is Odin. It's really great to have the earbud versions for the times when I don't have my Sennheisers with me, but the experience under a nice pair of headphones is really how I intend to listen to it. Unbelieveable. Easily worth the $9.99. I am so happy to have this! If you are into thunderstorms, this is the app to have.

Absolutely stunning, three dimensional recordings make you truly feel as if you're caught in the middle of a storm. These guys know audio. Beautiful. Frightening. Wet.

All I can say is...WOW! I really liked the first Naturespace app from these guys but this is just awesome! It sounds like you're right in the middle of it all! I swear if you close your eyes and relax just a bit you'll believe that you're out in the middle of nature and surrounded by intense yet oddly relaxing thunder! I love the sleep timer too! Great job!

There are many thunderstorm apps availible. Some are free, some not. NONE of them come close to the audio quality and the attention to detail that this app provides. The different journeys, designated by different thunder gods, will each take you to a different place. The 3-D sound makes you actually feel as if you are inside a thunderstorm. No app competes with this experience.

After absolutely loving the Naturespace app, I found their next app, Thundergod. This app, like the Naturespace app, is all around HIGH QUALITY in both sound, appearance AND text. Each selection includes a brief, yet compelling blurb about Thor, Odin, Loki and other Norse stuff. But the sound! THE SOUND WILL BLOW YOU AWAY. Listening to Thor is like listening to a storyteller. Each crash and rumble transports you to some remote village in Norway as you sit by the fire listening to the wrath of Thor. Fyi, Thor is the most intense. The intensity level dissipates as you move down the list. Tears of Asgaard is the most mellow...super relaxing. Again, Naturespace does an extraordinary job of helping to free your mind. In my experience , Thundergod and Naturespace have allowed me to relax and escape to another place and time. Above all else, Thundergod captures incredible thunder and rain like no other. You will not be disappointed.

Highly recommeded for relaxation and just plain enjoyment. The sleep timer is a nice touch. I also recommend their other app. Their website has a whole catalog of great soundscapes.

I have to say, I have never paid $10 for an app before. But I love these kind of apps, and decided to try it. I was totally unprepared for the experience that followed. It really is like being in a thunderstorm! I usually don't write reviews, but after seeing these other reviewers (who are obviously involved with those companies somehow), I have to speak up. The other sound apps are all just toys after this, there is no comparison. While they have storm sounds, they don't provide the feeling of being in one. They are more for sleeping, which never made much sense to me. I guess sound quality doesn't matter when you are sleeping and have one ear on a pillow. But I actually use this while I am awake, and the sound quality does matter. It's like comparing a Ferrari to a skateboard. I've been listening for over a week now and I just can't get enough of it. I actually forgot what room I was in when I was listening last night! Totally worth the money, and my time. Thanks naturespace, it's amazing. There is no going back to the toys after this. I do hope we see some updates in the future!

Sounds are incredible. Wish I could play them through my dock. Just the best sounds though. Was immediately impressed with quality when I downloaded Naturespace. Great job!

I can't believe their was an app like this 1 now I own naturespace and thundergod apps and all I can say is superb sound quality feels like your actually their!

I love this app so much. It is worth more then $9.99 IMO. I live in the Californian desert so I don't get much storms like these, but this app is as good as the real thing. I'll bet it'll help with astral projection too...

I said to myself that if I got 95% or more correct on all my tests that I took on Friday that I would treat myself and buy this app. I wasn't dissapointed! However I do expect this company to update their apps because we paied $10 dollars for this. But all around it is a great app. And if you want to play it on a dock thanturn off the earbud optimazation. 

Good but can you guys change the intro, sounds kinda scary when im just trying to chill out, but kinda creeps me out before i listen. 5 stars anyways though.

I didnt think I would find a better iPhone app than Sleepmaker Rain and Sleepmaker Storms etc... But this $10 app is unreal :) More expensive for sure but just as good :)

I don't think it's worth $10. They only give you 5 options. It's worth no more than $5 so download the free version until they lower the price.
