How to Use

At the end of a phone call, a user is asked, “Would you like to record a Tote Note?” Tap YES to record, make a few verbal notes to yourself about the call, and then tap SEND. A Tote Note is sent directly to your email inbox, which contains an MP3 audio attachment of your voice notes and your notes transcribed to text within the email body. The email subject contains the name and phone number of the person with whom the user spoke.

Users can sort, filter, and store Tote Notes emails within any email inbox, including MS Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and more. Tote Notes does not support Facebook Messenger at this time.

Users can also record Tote Notes manually (no phone call needed) from the history tab.

Setup

Tote Notes sets up in just a few seconds. At initial startup, users are led through a quick setup guide, where they are prompted for destination email address and timer settings. Other settings can be adjusted within PREFERENCES.

About Transcription

Transcription is a helpful tool, but users are encouraged to also rely upon the audio recording feature of Tote Notes in some circumstances.

Accuracy of individual Tote Notes transcription will vary with respect to factors such as background noise, the rate of speaking, and more. Under proper conditions, accuracy rates can approach 100%, but in some cases the results will be less accurate.

You can upgrade to Tote Notes Pro, which adds several important features, including the ability to record up to 2 minutes per individual Tote Note. The Pro version also allows for a second destination email address, so you can “cc” an assistant or secondary email address devoted exclusively to Tote Notes email.
