Customize the slate’s appearance for each production or shot-- choose from various clapper stick designs, slate background colors, slate fonts, and clock timecode colors. Tap the clapper and it opens and closes, producing an optional sync sound and animation-- signaling the start of your shot.
SOUND BOARD
Once your shot has started, a screen appears with lots of movie-set director sounds to make your actors feel like pros. You can even record your own funny sounds.

If you’re a pro or need a clapperboard with integrated shot log history and notes— look at our Movie★Slate app. Each time you start a take, Movie★Slate saves timecode IN/OUT points and all production data to a shot log.
