I bought this program primarily because of its ability to interface with "Tripit". Currently there are only 4 programs providing some type of interaction with "Tripit" -- TravelTracker/TravelTracker Pro, FlightTrack Pro, Travel Assistant Pro w/ Tripit, and Tripit for iPhone. Currently I have tried using all but the Travel Assistant Pro.

This application combines the best of a number of similar applications. With Tripit adding itineraries is a breeze and the added featured of flight checking,expense reporting,packing lists and more it saves screen real estate by doing the work of several other apps.

I have purchased many different travel/flight apps and this is by far the best. All of your travel plans in one place and with Tripit, it could not be easier to upload your travel plans. Also, the developer is very responsive. I have emailed him twice and I have heard back within 24 hours both times. He cares about his customers and the product he created and continues to refine. I use TravelTracker Pro in combination with Flight Update and they cover all of my travel situations: from having my itineraries loaded and all of my other reservations stored to checking on flights through FlightStats. This newer version adds the ability to upload data to Tripit as well as download it. That could come in handy when I need to make some changes mid-trip, or beforehand. It has worked seamlessly for me - in that it does what it's supposed to do with no problem - which was my hope and expectation when I bought it. I'm not experiencing slowdown or bugs of any kind so I'm not sure what the reviewer is talking about who mentions these issues. It works fine for me. I downloaded the free Tripit a while ago too and it's a fine app, but TravelTracker Pro is much more comprehensive and the additional features made me remove the Tripit app because it just wasn't needed. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRAVELTRACKER PRO!!

Most useful application on my iPhone. Recently moved up from the basic version. List management could be improved and as before, if Apple would only give developers access to the calendar, this could be the best travel management app ever. TripIt integration is a huge timesaver. Did I mention that Calendar integration would be fantastic? If/when we get calendar integration, would be nice to allow for "time to airport".

I had trip itineraries that synced fine with earlier version of this app. But not now. 2 of 4 did not sinc the info though the trip name did. Also it has crashed each time I synced. Also crashes when I try to email a completed itinerary. I uninstalled and reinstalled and rebooted twice with no luck. I also reporeted a problem and got no response.

Traveling a lot, I have always been a huge fan of TravelTracker when it was on my Palm PDA.

Would love to give this five stars, but I can't, yet. In theory, this is useful for the frequent traveller. But, as-is, it selectively chooses which reservations to sync from TripIt and crashes when you attempt to send HTML emails--every time. Rebooting solves nothing. Also, in text emails, it leaves out critical details of your travel, such as hotel addresses, phone numbers and confirmation numbers. Here's to hoping the next update brings some much needed improvements. Until then, save your money--and avoid the disappointment.

I'm sure once the bugs are worked out, this will be my favorite app, but the repeated loss of info is getting to be pretty frustrating. I've had multiple instances where I've lost information from my iPhone after downloading updated information from TripIt. I had a trip itinerary on both the iPhone and online in TripIt. When I update information in an itinerary and download it to my iPhone, it updates that itinerary, but I lose flight and other data from a totally different itinerary -- one I didn't even touch. At some point I have to either resend the confirmation email and make minor adjustments, or reenter all the information I've lost manually. This really needs to be addressed.

The design is nice, but the sync kills this app.

 After reading and reviewing all the trvale apps - i made the mistake of buying this one! This app is S L O W!! There is an annoying delay with every click. This application also crashes Everytime i want to fix a hotel name entry that shows up perfectly in Trip It!!! I am so disapointed in this $12 app - DO Not buy!!! I wante aomething that managed hotel and rentals but this is not it until they fix these issues! I have rebooted my iphone 3 times - same exact problem. Not sure if these 5 stars where from the people that worked on thos app! This app is mot ready and def not worth $12 - I want my money back !!!!!!!  Im so upset at myself for wasting mu money on this!!! 

We sincerely apologize for the problems people are having with the sync feature. We have indeed found a bug in the upload function. The download function works just fine. We have prepared an update which we will be submitting shortly.

I recently purchased Travel Tracker Pro and have been having a number of problems with it.

We are happy to announce that the new version 1.2 has resolved the issues reported by both reviewers and those submitted directly to us by email. We also expect a similar update to be approved by the App Store for the non-pro version soon as well.

I had used Traveltracker on my Palm for years. The integration with tripit and updated flight status, as well as keeping track of expenses, makes it a must-have for me. The developer is very responsive to notices of bugs and suggestions for improvements.

Just uploaded from app to tripitand my flight was deleted...GREAT APP regardless...

TravelTracker has been my travel program of choice for many years. It is intelligently designed and implemented. The added features introduced in the iPhone version bring the program closer to perfection. I particularly appreciate the steady, responsive, and effective technical support that has always been available. I gladly give TravelTracker Pro my highest recommendation.

No push notifications, no advantage over Tripit. Get Tripit gold instead

This app is excellent for my needs. I travel 3-4 times a month. When I travelled overseas the conversion tool was very helpful. I was notified of delays even before they were posted at the airport. Tripit integration works fine for me. I haven't made changes on the app and uploaded back to tripit though. I would suggest making the app more responsive because it can be extremely slow. Overall great job. Well worth the 13 bucks. But a great deal if you get it for 9.

Really liking the interface and features so far. Hope the integration of google maps for showing current flight position comes soon. The Tripit integration has been flawless for me, both downloading and uploading flight, hotel and car rental info.

I had the similar problem as reported by another reviewer, when uploading from the iPhone back to Tripit, it deleted my flight information. It's unclear why when you ask for a download; the program says you've changed your trip info (I have only viewed my trip, not changed anything)... apparently the program assumes "viewing" the same as "modifying". Also - it's unclear to me how changes made on TripIt (from my PC on the web); do not show up on the iPhone; I have to re-download the trip.

TripIt doesn't handle the deletion of Flights very well..changed my flight this morning..deleted the flight in app (best way)..added my new one within this app and uploaded to TripIt..TripIt Pro started sending me the appropriate texts for my updated flight... SPECTACULAR!!!

I know others reported this problem in the latest version, but I didn't believe it. Well, now I know. After I uploaded my trip info back to TripIt on the web, my flight data was GONE from both my iTouch AND TripIt. I had to resubmit the confirmation letter to TripIt to retrieve my flight info. Unbelievable!! So I will not upload data from this app until this gets fixed. For $12.99 (by far the most expensive app I have purchased), I expected more.

Have used the app almost since its beginning on the palm platform. Have tried all the competitors (including Tripit’s own app) and TT always comes out on top. With the iPhone platform and Tripit integration, it has reached new levels of functionality (Tripit is a gem for road warriors). While on the road, I enter a change to my schedule, upload it to Tripit and those following me at home with shared trips are always in the loop (even while I am in the air or on a boat and otherwise out of touch).

I have used this for a couple of months for seven trips. Doesn't offer any value above the free version of TripIt. TripIt is doing the heavy lifting of processing the itineraries that I email to it-TravelTracker is just downloading that info after TripIt processes it. Interface is nice, but the live flight status is not useful. Flight status does give an indication of whether your flight is on-time or delayed, but so does TripIt and TripIt makes getting flight status details easier than TravelTracker. The flight mapping feature is tracking the flight on your itinerary-so if you are on the flight you do not have access to a network to get details. I guess it might be novel (as opposed to useful) if you were tracking someone else's flight. For $13, there is no additional value beyond what the free apps offer. Doesn't feel like money well spent.

I was really dissapointed to find that you cannot check flight status of other flights, only those you download. For the price if this is all this app does it is a major waste of money. Felt almost deceived. It only gives info for flights u upload. Basically useless outside that.
