I give this app 4 stars. I'd give it 5 but it's a little slugish and buggy and I'm using a 3gs. However still a functional and superb app otherwise. I actually like the set up better then most app out there. And the shake to reload is awesome. Must have!!!

I bought this because of the hype of how awesome it was going to be. I wasn't really impressed, it was hard to get use to. BAD: I found it kind of hard to scroll the "wheel" without clicking buttons. I don't know how to distinguish which tweets are new and which are old which is annoying. The app had a lot of 'pretty' and it makes it kind of a chore to actually operate, espcially with multiple accounts. GOOD: It looks nice and has neat effects, but it just isn't very practical to use.

Tweetaholic is a solid entry into the iPhone Twitter app market. With an introductory price of $0.99 there's really no reason not to give it a try. The interface, which is dominated by Carlos the mascot, is interesting. It may not be the most efficient in the world, but it also works pretty well and is very different from your standard iPhone Twitter app mold. It's nice to have the ability to write a new tweet from anywhere anytime in the app just by tapping on Carlos. There are some downsides to the app though. It's definitely not fast. WiFi is okay, but 3G takes a long time to update the timeline. You're stuck displaying the full names, not the usernames, of the people you follow. For myself this is pretty annoying since I don't know the actual names of many of the people I follow. You're also limited to yFrog for video uploads for now, but this is going to be addressed in a future update once TwitPic switches to the new OAuth authentication method. You also can't change the font size, which will definitely be an issue for people who don't have the best eyesight as the default font size is rather small. Now for the pluses exclusive to Tweetaholic. Post to Facebook is built right into the app, and it works extremely well. You can also email tweets which is very nice and executed well. (I realize emailing of tweets is not exclusive to Tweetaholic, but it's still a noteworthy feature.) Probably the best feature is timeline blacklisting. You can blacklist specific users, or even specific words/phrases! That's a pretty awesome feature right there, and most certainly worth the $0.99 by itself. Overall Tweetaholic is a solid start by the Hustle Inc. team. In-app theme purchases are coming soon, as well as bug fixes and feature updates. Bottom line: for the price it's worth a try. You might love it, you might hate it, but definitely download it and watch Carlos do his thing at app launch.

Dump all those expensive Twitter apps and get this amazing app while it's still at the fantastic introductory price of .99. You won't ever regret buying it

...and the app meets all the hype. App is greatness, and works as reported. Many of the features seen in this app usually comes into play 20 updates later. This app can only go up from here. Already read about the future updates and very excited. Congrats fam!

Great Twitter app. Has some nice innovative features and great graphics. Carlos the Bird is awesome. There are a few little things here and there could use improvement but the devs are pretty up date with what's good, so I'm sure they'll be fixed relatively quickly. I also heard there's an update already submitted. Definitely worth paying the $0.99 to see the opening animation over and over.

I have used them all: Tweetie, Echofon, Twitterific, Twitbit etc.. you name it I have tried it. Tweetaholic kills them all and brings a whole new fresh edge to the market. Intuitive and striking UI mashed with some of the best features that no other client has touched. A MUST HAVE for anybody that has a Twitter account. Buy this, you will not be disappointed.

this application is one of the best I have used on the iphone. the attention to detail, amazing user interface, and sweet little bird! the carousel home screen is extremely unique, and for $.99 EVERYONE who uses twitter should be using this!

Love the ability to blacklist words in my twitter timeline. Simple yet highly functional UI. Can't wait for the iPad version to arrive.

So this app isn't terrible, but there's nothing all that great about it. The interface is slow and clunky, and there's even some weird graphical things that shouldn't be there. And the "theme" (a blue alchoholic bird) is lame. It looks like it's for a 3-year old. It takes me much longer to navigate in Tweetaholic than any other Twitter app I've used. The timeline word blacklisting is an awesome feature I haven't seen anywhere else, but the main interface is so slow and hard to manouver that I can't see myself ever using this app. It takes forever to turn that wheel until you get to the thing you're looking for. Also, I had to tap about a hundred times in the username box to input my Instapaper username. Is there like a certain pixel I had to hit or what? I don't know, and I don't really care. This will be removed from my iPhone until it's updated to be more usable.

This app is teh shiz. You can blacklist any word or phrase, and the Beginning animation is epic. A falling drunken bluebird? Win.
