I just downloaded this app, and I'm pretty sure I'm going full-time! The customizable home screen and group features make this a no brain replacement for another bloated groups Twitter app.

Very well done app for v1.0. Apart from Push, the ability to manually mark off tweets as read is very useful. The app automatically downloads all the search categories in the background, and is very useful for certain situations. But I'd like to see an option to toggle this function to save some unnecessary wireless data traffic.

Landscape typing is the key item that puts this at the top of the free Twitter apps list. Very promising though the UI isn't as appealing as a Twitterific or Tweetdeck. May come out as the best free app when the dust settles.

No trendings, you only receive push notifications IF the other person is using iTwitter also.

Yeah its cool that this has push abilities. No its not cool that it only pushs content from other iTwitter users. And again, just like TweetDeck, this Twitter app loses updated when you update. Fail. Sticking with TwitterFon until there are some major improvements.

OMG DONT ADVERTISE PUSH IF IT DOES NOT WORK it's a nice Twitter app but the push does not work at all and it's very slow!!! I wasted my money. get it together people!!!! I'm a very upset customer

Push Notifications only work on iTwitter to iTwitter, too bad.

The app is nice. I love the fact that you can view anything in landscape mode. That's awesome enough. The app says push notifications enabled but I've yet to receive a notification. I don't really know why. I love the app though but I'll still use twitterfon pro from time to time til the push is fixed. The interface of this app is top notch. I give it a 4.6 - 5

I've been waiting for an app like this, not cluttered n doesn't crash.the interface is nice and PUSH works!! First app that's free and does the job.I will be using this app everyday n now I can delete other Twitter apps. I'd recommend this app to anyone!! 

to date.. I've tried twitterfon pro, tweetdeck, and twitterific. Because of they all pretty much look the same (aside from tweetdeck which it GREAT.. accept it crashes a lot)... it took a minute to get my bearings.. but I did so in a snap. after having set my account up i was recieving push notifications instantly. I love twitterfon pro because of the landscape keyboard, the address book to add multiple "@" within a msg, and how easy it is to use. iTwitter does all of these things and in some cases does it BETTER. Landscape throughout the app is smooth and very useable. Great job with this app!!! the one thing i don't really like is the cartoony icon.. LOL. but that's just me bing picky. Otherwise this app has worked flawlessly for me. 5/5

This Is the best Twitter app so far wit the landscape textin nd push notifications...it just doesn't have a trending topics list like twitterfon...nd I also haven't gotten a notification yet

This a great Twitter app. The push notifications are extremely fast. I'd give it five stars if you could load more tweets at a time.

I still give this app a 5just for landscape mode alone! The only thing wrong with this app is that Push Notifications only work if the sender is using itwitter as well. Although itwitter is awesome, everyone is not going to switch. So if the devs make push work across the board, this will be the premier twitter app!! 

Twitterfon was my favorite Twitter client until now. This one is wonderful. I would have problably payed money for this.

It's pretty decent but I'm gonna stick with my other Twitter app until trending topics is added

I like it better then twittilator already (which i paid for.. bew) my only wish is some configuration options, for example being able to change your photo app (i prefer twitgoo as twitpic goes down alot) but other then that so far so good. Havent been able to test the push stuff yet.

This app needs: Proper push implementation for all users, not just iTwitter users, a settings module for customization, support for trends. It is still the best free twitter application on the iphone platform, but it needs work. I am hopeful that it will continue to improve.

Best Twitter app, hands down.

Huge sigh of relief after using TweetDeck for the past few weeks and dealing with it's glitches and constant crashing. This app is very reliable and consistent and PUSH is great. It also has a great and easy to use interface and let's you know which tweets you haven't read yet. Highly recommended.

The only things is missing is trends. But great app

Well the update took away what I thought was a cool feature. Now you have to navigate to another screen to get to a reply or retweet link. The pop up menu was way cooler. It does seem more stable and faster now and the groups seem to be working now. For me though losing the popup menu will most likely send me back to TwitterFon.

Thought it was good for free. Landscape is it's main selling point. However it has been tediously slow to operate and nothing I would pay $3 for. HOLY CRAP!!! Recent update made this bad mother fraker the Twitter application to beat. I totally gave up / forgot about this one. LANDSCAPE EVERYWHERE! Thank you! Trends, nearby, updated avi's, quick, responsive with access to your profile! Great F*ckin Job! Wish I could do better than 5 stars!

Push doesn't work for me. And one thing that I miss that TwitterFon has is access to the trending topic list. Can't seem to find anyway of getting to it.

Man this app gets 5 stars the UI is really sleek n clear n its VERY fast its an all round great app!! And when v1.2 comes out with global push..hands down it will be da BEST TWITTER APP!!! GREAT WORK!!!!!

What a great app. The only complain I have is the mentions icon. Other than that I'll deal with the icons everyone else seems to hate. This app is fantastic and your update was fine, nothing wrong with it.

But the new version is UGLY. I liked the looks MUCH better before. This alone is a total turn off. I'm reverting back a version once I get back to my computer. Developers: please fix this soon. I would hate to be so shallow and switch my Twitter client based on looks.

For the most part, I love this app and it would be my top Twitter client *IF* it had auto-scroll to first unread tweet. Having to load new tweets 25 at a time from most recent backwards drives me crazy enough that I find myself using other apps (that don't have some of this app's great features like read now or later and twitpic preview) instead of this one. An option to de-green/de-bubble the app would also be a win. Other than that fatal flaw, I love this app.

I purchased it yesterday and had tried it out for 2 days. I like the 'group' function. But the 'read now or later' seem pretty annoying for me. The UI is a little bit ugly, green and yellow. And when you read a tweet, it should marked as read automatic. When you click someone's avatar, it should make a @replay,but not show the picture. Anyway, the app is great, and I enjoyed it.

I don't like the little pictures that are new(hard to explain) I wish it would scroll to most recen tweet And I really do like the "read now" "read later" option

Used to love this but since the update it is hard to get messages to even load. Please fix asap

I've been off and on with this Twitter app. I was really dissapointed when the developers ditched the pop-up context menus. It was a very unique and usedul feature compared to most Twitter apps. Otherwise, it's a good Twitter app with landscape support everywhere. The Groups feature is extremely useful. The home deck makes it very convenient to navigate the app itself. I'll have to agree with those who are upset about the new home deck icons. They're just plain ugly. Compared to the icons from older versions, they're a step backwards. Also, not having an automatic "scroll to first unread tweet" is extremely aggrivating. Echofon, Twittelator, and Twitterrific all have said feature, and it makes a world of difference. The Push Notification feature is useless if the people you follow aren't using the same app. Change the home deck icons back to the orriginal icons, add a real Push Notification system, and change the "Filter" icon (wtf is that icon suppose to be anyhow?), add "auto jump to first unread", and this app will be back on track. I like the new bubbles. Much better than the plain ugly green slates of older versions. They help the app have a more native feel as they mimic the look of the Text Messaging app. Although, theme options would be a very welcome feature.

I was sooo hopeful for this app. Each update takes one of the things that made it "close" and kills it. To top it off, the developers still haven't learned that a Twitter app should load with oldest unread first... not forcing me to scroll through all the tweets to 25 at a time to find the first unread. sad sad sad.

This is a good app only if it work with other twit app, if you want real twitter app without push restriction, then look somewhere else, I have been using one and I am happy with that app. EDIT: Why would I pay monthly for push notification, its a joke. Used to like this app but there are better ones out there. If I may add, they still haven't fixed the "posted from web"
