Twitterfon changed their name to something so so ugly that I decided to look around for another Twitter client. Alas, I found Twitbird, and I LOVE IT! Far better than any other free Twitter apps I've used. And I love the landscape mode; the other free Twitter apps don't have this feature! Very glad I found this app.

I like it very much, it's clear and well-designed and like that you can see which tweet is the person actually replied to. Just one suggestion, it may be even better if it's just one click for a new tweet and no need to choose from "New Tweet" or "Direct Message to", or may be make an option to the setting or even one more button for DM, that will be perfect.

Does what it's supposed to... I have all the other free Twitter apps and I must say this one is the best if you don't believe it try it Im actually thinking of getting the paid version because I want push notification the free version doesn't have it but it's still an awesome app I am in  finally a Twitter app that does it all 

This is absolutely the best Twitter app out right now! It has everything you could ever want in a Twitter app. The only improvment I could suggest is adding an auto scroll feature, so when you start the app it will start your tweets where you left off. The best example I could give for this is the echofon formely known as Twitterfon app. Other than that it's pretty much a perfect app!

It would great if twitbird would let me change my profile pic, that would be pretty cool, otherwise than that it's a great app!! 

It's really not bad at all. It has the landscape typing which is really nice. But it loads so slowly. Like I would post a tweet and have to write it a second time for the tweet to actually go. And loading new tweets from other people, yo it takes like 10 minutes to get there some times.

I have tried every free Twitter app and I can't figure out why this one isn't more popular. All I wanted was a simple twapp with NO ADS, with clear color coding for read/unread tweets, one click to my tweets, and no annoying noises. The very popular Tweetdeck, Twitterific, and Echofon did not meet my simple requirements. This one does, and lots more features for the more serious twitterers. Is it perfect? No. It could be faster. After I tweet it takes minutes rather than seconds to appear. I hope an update will fix that. And in a perfect world, I could pick my color scheme!

best free twitter client. i've tried them all. dethroned echofon (twitterfon) from my phone. here's why: fast, great UI, in-app emailing, every feature possible--and *new* features too! i especially like that it gives the original message on your @ and DM's (for others as well as your own). this app is outstanding. notice ot's almost 5 stars in under 2 weeks.

Good, but with one fatal fault, it does NOT open external links, say, bring you to the AppStore by clicking the link, u must open the link in safari.

By far I am satisfied with all the changes in v1.2, it's fast, and with a configurable background, build-in image look-up.

I have no complaints with this app. Simple to use, very fast, stable, and nice-looking. Like my fiancé!

can u add "from twitbird" instead of "from web" after every tweet

This app is perfect! Everything I need for a good price (free)!

This app has a lot of neat features that most other twitter apps are lacking. The UI is simple, yet detailed. Everything I could have wanted in an app is included(landscape, trending topics, nearby tweeps, users original tweet included with replies...and many, many more!) The new update in October to include push and update the status(instead of saying 'from web') will surely change my rating from a 4 to a 5

Best ad free app fir twitter. Hands down

I wish you didn't have to refresh to see your own update after you post it.
