It's SUPPOSED to be fairly depressing. It's a wake-up call: people need to change their way of thinking soon. I remember that only ten years ago the debt was something like 5.5-6 trillion dollars. It was depressing then, so now that it's over 10 trillion, what is it? Devastating. Our government is going bankrupt and they're only just beginning to figure it out now...

Okay i am not here to rate the app (i don't have an iphone/ipod touch) but for the people that say it works with no service and that it's "fake", it's because you have wifi, and that's probably why you have no service. You obviously don't need service if you can use it with ipod touch. Its not that hard people!

I heard the debt hit 11 Trillion. On the app, it doesn't show that much. Also, it goes at a set rate.

This app does what it says it does. The reason the "debt per person" doesn't go up often is because there are a lot of people in the US. Also, when I have no wi-fi (itouch), it doesn't work, so it isn't just a random nunmer generator. Oh... And people... Yes, our national debt is over ten trillion dollars. This app may be depressing, but it works.

The ap does exactly what i downloaded it for. I do not see why people are complaining or starting a presidential debate cause it won't solve anything. As for national debt, it is a good thing. If you guys stopped watching the news for 10 seconds and looked at the teachings of Alexander Hamilton (the guy on the 10$ bill for those of you who don't know) you'd know that. That does not mean this stimulus package is a good thing. I'm afraid our country has started a downward spiral.

I would give this application 5 stars, except that the true national debt is over 56 Trillion dollars, not the almost 11 trillion the app reports. I would like to have the option of reporting the PGPF.ORG calculation for the national debt. Very cool that the app is free given the state of the debt in America. :)

Better to include interest to pay per year so that we know how the debt is eating our future.
