I've been searching for voice recorders since October and finally found this one today that has everything I was looking for. The most important thing I wanted was a file recorded in mp3 format that could be emailed easily. This app has that. Plus, I wanted the email to appear "from" me, with a customized subject line, multiple recipients, and the space to write text as well. I got all of it. The reason I wanted MP3 is that my email client is gmail, which plays mp3s from within the body of an email message. Much easier for my recipient.

How can this be only 99. I mean thanks 10 bucks is a bit too much, but it works great I wouldn't change anything if I were u maybe recording quality but after buying and downloading other vr apps I know better. Hope great things for this app, hope to see it up there pretty soon.

Great price at .99 Cost 29.99 for BlackBerries. I like it and they offer online storage too.

On the face of it this seems like quite a useful application, and good value especially at the new reduced 99c price. However there are some worrying issues. It's almost impossible to discover information relating to the iPhone version - all kinds of links and references from the developers bring the user to a version for the Blackberry with many different features (not to mention pricing!). Additionally, and IMHO more seriously, when I chose to 'Upload to VR+ Online' I later discovered that my personal recordings were 'Public' by default. It is possible to manually switch the recording back to 'Private' but one needs 1) to know that it's Public and 2) easy access to a browser to make the changes. The website info suggests that the user can make that decision at the record/upload stage, but I can't find any way to do that. Nor is there a way to set up a 'User Profile' in one's personal page so that the default is changed to 'Private'. So I really think the developers, who seem to have done quite a bit of work on this app, should make a greater effort to provide iPhone specific info for purchasers. I'd also like to know more info on the MP3 quality that's being recorded and ideally the option to select a higher quality than the default. Despite all of the above, it's still a very useful app and very easy to use. I particularly like the ease with which a recording can be added to even after it's been saved.

This is an amazing idea and totally useful. The UI is a bit rocky. But the WORST thing is the HORRIBLE compression rate on the mp3. It makes this app UTTERLY USELESS for songwriters. Come on Shape, there are free apps with 1000 times better audio quality.

I just wished it saved the email addresses, that way you don't have to enter the whole address everytime uou are emailing.

This app is useless. I want to record a message, press send, select an address from my address book and then have it sent from Mail using my current account. How tough can this be?

Over the past 8 mos. I've purchased/tried six programs, and with this last upgrade, VR+ does it all!!! Finally! I interview suspects almost daily, and it's so nice to have a recorder with me all the time. Plus I can email my interview back to my office as an mp3, and it's there before I return! By far worth the $$$!!!

This application is horrible, I could upload to social networks, the recording. Playbacks SKIP and sometimes just fully cut out. If u try using the best quality the iPhone shuts off after 1:20 seconds of play CONSISTANTLY

Okay first off, great app all around. Just a couple minor fixed and itll def be the best recording app out there. The most important thing it needs is an input level indicator on the side thats always showing you how loud it is and if the sound levels are peaking, I've been trying to find a good recorder app for my band but only one has had the sound levels and this one has the sharing and quality options I want. Also, maybe look at Retronyms "Recorder" app, they have a sweet way of deleting recordings by holding your finger on it and moving a little to the side, then a delete button pops up, very convenient. Anyways once this improves, definitely worth the money.

* I have to remove this review until I hear back from support on network transfers. Without network transfers, this app is totally incomplete. You are forced to upload your files to their site to get them onto your computer! If you have large files or have very little or slow bandwidth, it can be very inconvenient. Get back to me via support and add that to this app and I'll change my review!* *Another update* It has now been over a week since I've written to support, and I still have not heard back. Just be wary that there is no support system for this product as far as I can tell. Too bad.

I thought this would be the perfect AP for me but I can't even use it. When I start the AP it goes right into record mode. If I try to stop the recording, the whole AP crashes and shuts down. I can't even get into the settings because it goes right into record mode. Do not buy because it's super buggy.

Last 20 attempts failed in both 3G and WiFi. No assistance from support as of this date.

I have also contacted support with no answer back. This app doesn't load to my social networks. It would be an absolutely awesome app if it ran as stated. If it's just my iPhone that's the issue or something that I'm not doing,, I will be happy to retract but with no word from tech support...

Sent to Twitter with high audio quality. Didn't notice any bumps or bruises with uploading. Voice detection is incredibly useful, too. You can listen to recordings from the links on an iPhone, too, which is great. If you're concerned about that, I'd advise not getting TweetMic, as it only plays in Flash. Great app. Grab it at $0.99 and I'm sure you won't be sorry. iPhone 3G, OS 3.0

I love this app the only problem is I think I'm over tweeting with it haha but that more of my problem, anyways I love it worth evey dime

This audio app is soo easy to use. I definitely recommend it. It has so many features at a great price. Also it saves as MP3 so it is compatible on other mobile devices which can't play most of the other recording formats. Definitely recommend ! =)
