Not worth the download

First of all anyone can post whatever they want, so half of "What's New" is crap written by thirteen year olds. Second, the auto scrolling skips and jumps. There are strange pauses making it difficult to read. Third, I'm already half way through a book but wanted to try and read it on the app, however it took forever to scroll to the right page. In the end I had to auto scroll to the page I needed. Fourth, though not too irritating (for me anyway) my iPod had trouble playing while I was browsing for something desent to read. Finally, the browse by catagorie doesn't work. Highly frustrating, problimatic, and time consumeing. Might as well go buy a book.

Ads

I like the App itself, but the ads at the bottom make it hard to see. When you are scrolling down, the ads at the bottom of the screen hide the last thing on the screen, making it impossible to touch the thing undernieth. I will give this 5 stars if you can fix that.

Best ebook app out there!!!

This is seriously the best ereader out right now (or ever). Those who complain are not using it correctly.. I love the built-in search engine. Find whatever book you want and save it to your library, for free. Can't find the book you want? Go to wattpad.com, upload the ebook, and then retrieve it on the app. So whether you want to find a book or upload an ebook you already own, this app is highly recommended. :-)

With all the content being praised, I thought this app might be decent. It isn't. Don't fool yourself. Just old free classic stuff. Nothing remotely new or relevant. This app suffers from complete lack of content.

No Real Fullscreen

Advertisment Placement

The ads cover up the "more titles" option so I can't give a proper review because I'm not allowed to search more than one screen. I'd llike to give this a good review, its a great concept, but it's impossible to do a full review on an app that doesn't allow you to get a good feel for it's content. Hopefully there will be an update soon. Until then it will remain on my home screen unused or until someone makes a better app.

Every time I try to use this app it "loads" the book and then shuts down. When you reopen you have to re search for the book and it "loads " it and then shuts down. It is a vicious circle. A piece of CR@P.

Stephen king. I got every single one u have so that's about 20 or 30 right there not to mention other authors. This app is awesome all books one app. I'd think the icon would be cooler if u did like a mega 3d book or something. Icons a bit plain but that's all I would fix. Works on both iPod and iPhone awesome! I love this keep up the good work. :)

Great for reading when you want to kill some time. Lots of classics available. It would be great to be able to search by author though. Also one review mentioned the app shutting by itself. I also had that problem but it went away after a couple of uses. And you can read off line. You just have to save books to your library. Just left a review but had to update and take a star away because now it won't open

This is an awsome app! I can get most of the books i want! You should add Darren Shan's "Demonata" series. But all of a sudden its crashing.... Fix and ill give stars.

Best Reading App I've Found

I have found more free books that I want to read with this application than any other one. It has a decent search function and you can adjust the font, colors, scrolling speed, and the way you view the text. I've already read over 40 books with it compared to three or four with the other top reading app and none with another mid-rated one.

Fix the crashes

Overall it's pretty good I love havein my fav books to read without haveing to pay for them. But y'all need to fix constant crashing it gets really annoying after a while fix that then I'll update to five stars

Best app ever, no joke!

Well, I've been a loyal & (happily) addicted user of Wattpad.com for over a year, before I discovered this app. There are no words to describe my satisfaction with this application. It not only is easier to use, but it allows me to save books on my iTouch, in a matter of seconds, for offline use (best feature ever!!!). The books take up little room, so I easily save several at a time. Admittedly, it does crash if I put in actions too fast to process, but the app is so otherwise perfect that the few problems are worth it. Wattpad turns your iPhone/iTouch into the perfect reading device. It's much better than the Sony Reader I returned. I use the Wattpad app every day. Download it now!

Disappointing

This app isn't even worth the space free or not. Most of the books are pointless fan girl fanfics that shouldn't be there in the first place and that stupid add keeps you from selecting the next ten book button. This app needs alot of improvement to be even slightly worth it...

Much better than stanza

I actually find this much more enjoyable than stanza. I saw that because certain books I found on wattpad, like the full harry potter book (half-blood prince) would definitely cost me some money but instead it's free. My only complaint is that the ad gets in the way when I'm scrolling towards the bottom of the screen. Other than that keep up the good work.

Need internet

Good selection, but regardless of what the website says you must have an internet connection to read a book. Too bad for the ipod touch.

Stanza renders it useless.

Nice scrolling page feature... But on EVERY OTHER LEVEL, Stanza has it beat. Better customization, better cover view and better browsing functionality. This app is useless.

Failed before it whaled!

I have loved Wattpad on Java Mobile phones (dumbphones) for many years but this application refuses to install on my 2.2.1 iPod Touch because it says it is compatible with 2.1 FW only. What is going on? Why I cannot install this application? Sorry, aside from Stanza being better, I thinkt his app had a fail before it whaled!

All it needs is to have books cover thats all, DOWNLOAD IT , this is the one with the best estability and nicest looking recomended for all languages, FREE BOOKS . BETTER THAN STANSA and EREADER this app is the best reading app. i have tryed all of the others apps and this one is the best one "please book covers" thats all
