I can search not by just entering a location, but I can search around where I actually am. There are stations here that I never knew about before!

I've been waiting for something like this for a long time! Not disappointed! Does everything you need and easy to click around.

This app does everything they say it does - graphs for all my favorite wind reports, and lots of others I didn't know about. Can't wait till they add forecasts!

Here I was sitting here sick as a dog doing nothing but cruising through iTunes. Then suddenly ikitesurf saves the day. Thank you guys! The wind alert app works really well, and with several great wind sensors reporting in my area, I really wish I wasn't sick today... &*$%(! Anyway, I'm looking forward to a MAJOR week of kiteboarding next week and you can bet that I will be glued to my iphone from now on whenever I'm away from ikitesurf.com on my computer.

Excellent Obs Wind Ap.. I've others, this is the best I've found so far.. Graphing the Avg and Max values against the forcast for each site and then auto sorting the sites strongest to weakest is a big plus. I use it daily for RC sloping and in San Diego it's very helpful since there are lots of weather sites pretty near slopes where I actually fly. . Wish I could get a webcam pix of the cloud cover /rain at a site. Only complaint I have is that there's a considerable typical 10 to 30+ minute lag in updates.

I have to say that I have tried several apps for wind and this is the best!! I sail and depend on the wind and use several sites on Internet and this app even has them beat!!! Get this app you will not regret it!

A great app for anybody who likes to know what the wind is doing. Couldn't ask for more from a free app

Great instant display of everything it normally takes many minutes for me to check, and I check for wind info ALL the time. Can't wait for the alerts and extended features to be added.

Great app. Forecast would be a bice feature.

Lots of weather apps have wind reports but those are from public domain wind sensors that are rarely next to bodies of water. The company that makes this app, Weatherflow, has ALL of those wind sensors. But what makes this app great is that Weatherflow also has hundreds of sensors in their private sensor network. And all of these sensors are right on the waters edge or sometimes even on buoys etc.

I love the Favorites screen. With a quick glance, I can see all my favorite sites, as well as a couple of sites I hope to visit. Click on a site, and the graph shows Gusts, luls, average windspeed, direction, and air temp. The graph also shows the forecast wind speed and direction for about 5 hours in advance with the fat light blue line.

The app is useless for me, but some may find it helpful.

You have to sign in but nowhere to register

If you have a subscription to iWindsurf or iKitesurf this is a great way to quickly view wind graphs from your favorite sites on your iPhone. The graphs include all the information accessible by computer, but there is no map view or tide data. The company promises to make future software updates available adding features such as these.

Must have for kitesurfers. Room for improvement though: Better search Historical Slider for the graph Ability to look at a point of the graph Alerts!

Wind Alert is an iKitesurf, iWIndsurf iPhone client. Within the limits of what this software does it seems to work nearly perfectly, I would love to have a few other features, particularly tides but as it is it is a complete game changer for me.
