Description

Wind Speed is an anemometer (wind meter) that works surprisingly accurate since it only measures inputs to iPhone's microphone. Various algorithms isolate wind from other sounds like noise and human voice.

You can choose display units between: Miles per hour (mph), Knots (Kn) feet per second (fps), kilometers per hour (km/h) and meters per second (m/s).

Application also keeps track of maximum and average speed. Wind speed can measure winds even above 100 km/h (60 mph).

Since some devices have dirty microphones click (i) and use Fine Tunning slidebar for best results.

Very simple to use, just point iPhone's microphone towards wind and application will do the rest!
