You would think that the most popular Android app would be one of Google’s own, but a recent report from Nielsen shows that Facebook was the most used app in the U.S. during the last 30 days. Facebook was found to be the most active app among users 18-24 and 25-34, where it rack up an amazing 80% usage. When it comes to app stores, Google’s Android Market topped the charts with usage rates of 89-95%. This should come as no surprise since it comes pre-installed on most Android devices. Amazon’s Appstore, which debuted this year and must be manually installed, made a strong showing with usage rates of 14-24%. The most popular game was Angry Birds, which ranked highest among the older age group. Usage rates by age were 22% for 18-24, 29% for 25-34, and 35% for 35-44. The game is very addictive and extremely fun to play. The ads however are Really Really annoying. I understand the need for ads to keep the games free but the ads here are just too much, they will pop up in the middle of a move! The game also has issues sending my moves quite often and I have to shut my phone off & turn it back on to get them to send. It also drains the battery like mad! Those three issues prevent 5 stars. When fixed will gladly give five stars!

I really enjoy playing this game the ads are just obnoxious and I would gladly pay to remove them but I cant seem to find a version of this that's paid unless its for iPhone. The ads pop up after each word submission and when I try to go back to the main menu. The amount of advertising is beyond ridiculous and is just obvious greed and lack of concern for the enjoyment of the game. The ads literally ruin this game for me.

1. Foo many full page/video ads. 2. Says on the game that if player does not respond after a 'reasonable amount of time' they will be forced to resign. This is BS 10days now without 2 random opponents responding. Fix this! Should be allowed to resign at any point your turn or not. 3. Does not calculate points correctly all the time especially obvious when making 2 words. 4. Have resorted to using 'cheat' words used on me just to keep up with game! Not fun anymore!

Even more sync problems ... Local play broken. Where is the QA group? Toshiba tablet. One game thinks that it is my turn but does not show the opponents last move nor does it have a PLAY button and I can't move tile on the board. Come on ... The new ad feature has got to be the most annoying in the history of the world. How many times do the developers think I will hit ENTER, SKIP or CANCEL beforeI just QUIT and move on to other more professionally programmed games?

I can understand that getting a game to cooperate with several different devices can be a pain in the you know what. But c'mon, Anroid isn't exactly rocket science. Playing with your friends on Facebook does not work on the eee pad slider and transformer. Been waiting for a fix for too long now. And Zynga doesn't seem to care. I'm willing to bet that eventually a paid version will come out that actually works. Shame on you Zynga.

Since last update i get a force close box when trying to open. Also, I still can't play this on Facebook from my Acer A500 tablet. Please fix these issues.... Please fix this force close issue. I've had, and been playing this game for several months without any problems, now it's force closing everyone I open the game. I am rating the game on the game itself as I hope this force close issue is only a temporary inconvenience and will soon be fixed.

Here we go again. App WAS working. 3/29 update totally screwed it up. Can't even open app. I can't tell you how much I wish there were a viable alternative to this game that other people would switch to. Zynga sucks! Beyond force closing...app is a mess since last update. This is the ONLY app that has EVER crashed my Acer Iconia A500 tablet completely. Locked it up and forced a complete reboot. Constant force closes, even when I'm not using it. When I can open it without crashing, it does not show my opponents recent moves. Please fix!

Since purchased two months ago the gliches in this game have never been updated or fixed. You can only see part of the board and never see or respond to any of the comments. For these reasons I don't even play any more on this device unless its corrected. Uninstalling & reinstalling does absolutely nothing. I know it is the app for it happens on the demo devices at the at&t stores as well. I hope you fix this already...

Great game except the swap algorithm stinks, when there are 70 tiles left and you swap out 3 "e"s you shouldn't get back 2 "e"s. The swaps disproportionately give you the same letters back. The next to last update has annoying feature that says to remind my friends to play when it has only been 13 hours. The last update now says to start a game with 2 other friends and after I paid for no advertisements it advertises its own additional pay for features.

Upgrade makes playing EXTREMELY slow. Play w your Grandmother cuz she is the only one w that much downtime Absolutely hate the new upgrade. Game is now EXTREMELY slow. I think it is because it picks random friend suggestions to start another game. Takes forever to play now. I paid for the upgrade to speed the game up and don't need suggestions. "Acceptable" words: aa, ae, ai, oe, za (s), qi (s), qua (s), qat (s), zori, zine, jo, jinn, just to name a few. Really? Come on; has anyone ever used ANY of these "words" in their lifetime? Yeah, I didn't think so. Basically, just plug two random letters together and you're good to go! Also, apparently the word "texas" is acceptable? Has anyone ever used this word without referrring to it as the great State of Texas (which would not be acceptable since it's a proper noun)? So stupid...

SUPER De Dopper Game. I love it! It's FUn. A family game or one on one game. Many options to play and win. Facebook, on my galaxy tab or from my phone ( Droid 3 ). Connect and find players from all over the world. Would love an ads free version. Still 5 Stars Would love for the same developers to make a family feud game for Androids (currently only for apple Iphones and IPAd). Please consider because I love your products and games.

Ok, just switched from iPhone to Samsung note, and of course had to have my favorite waste of time. I have to say though that, even though its more stable on Android, its smoother on the iPhone. So much so that I thought maybe I made a mistake getting the Note. But its the only slow game in the bunch, so its a game problem, right? I guess they didn't optimize it for Android. A little disappointing when you spring for the pay version, but ultimately still very playable, if not as smooth as the iPhone version

Plays can be made when it's convenient and you can have several games going at once without it being a time-sucker. Non-intrusive and a nice way to connect with friends, since you can send messages about the plays made to each other (they should change the rude "make your move!" reminder, tho-- looks like you wrote it yourself). You can opt to pay a couple dollars to remove ads, since it seems like they get progressively longer and/or more obnoxious--but with or without, this is my favorite game app!

but there's a lot of people cheating out there with those like the words with help for friends when you're playing someone and they get all those words that run perpendicular to another word and they get 5 words in 1 turn, you know they're using 1 of those cheater programs. it's sad when you find out all of your friends are cheaters. you should change the rules so only 1 side word is allowed. but I suppose, then the cheater program would change too. it's just sad.

WWF had become a classic and a staple for smart phone gaming. The game play is simple, smooth, & bugless. If you like word games like Scrabble, you'll love this. If not, you won't. It's not original, just a fancier and more modern version of Scrabble and board games that used to be played by (e)mail. The ads aren't very bothersome as per other free versions of apps. It's worth the download if you haven't played scrabble to try it even as a time waster (if you have a game to play).

Love the game. Love being able to play n e one on n e fone, gave it 5 Stars But there is one But....Please please get rid if the "Cheats" version. Only choosers use it & I can tell when someone playing me is using it so then I won't play them anymore. Had to but the ad~ free version cuz the videos locked up my fone all the time. Get rid of the cheats man what are we saying to the newer generation,huh?? It's ok to chest. I think this is a bad example which makes the creators look bad to,.

WWF beats scrabble and any other word game in it's league. I love the flexibility it provides, allowing the player to mess around with tiles and coming up with words one never knew existed. I will give it 5 stars when I'm able to tap on a new found word and get a definition. I don't want to switch back & forth between the game & my dictionary app. Make it happen fellows. I am absolutely addicted to this game..... It is brilliant. I love the game (of course) but I also like the opportunity it gives to exchange comments with adversaries. Thank you.(ps I've found a way of red ucing the number of letters shown when guessing....and you're stuck....if you have no bombs..write down letters, exit and return....on your return some letters remain the same....some change. Omit the changed letters and 'Bingo' you've a better hope of getting the answer.

Fast loading time. Excellent game concept. Very entertaining & addictive! Love it. I've never been required tokens unless to use additn'l featurs. When I used up the 5 free coins (accidentally), then I just simply clicked icon so that it changed to orange, and Presto! Never again to be seen. I log in using my Facebook account and have had nothing but the best play experience. Way more than I can ask for a FREE game. Except when I lose. I absolutely love the game. Btw, ads are needed to keep it free. HellOo!

I play this game on facebook so i was xtatic ta say the least wen i found i could get it on my droid prob is, is that it NEVER wrks i opn the game & try ta connect w facebook and aftr a min it goes back to main screen w a lil pop up that says "netwrk error, plz try again l8r" ugh does that evry time :( vry upsetting cuz i c on here many ppl w the same phone (samsung SCH-R915) and they say they've nvr had a prob w this game.. Love this app! By far the best free wordgame ive played so far...if your a scrabble junkie like me than this is a must have app...but only thing i would like to see udated is list of words that can be played. There have been several words that have not been able to use in this game that i have used in scrabble game! And maybe some different levels and types of boards would be a nice addition...but overall still gets 5 stars!!!!!

I am having problems playing Words With Friends on my Le Pan II tablet and cannot figure out how to get it to display correctly. The tiles that I use to make my words are sooooo big that I cannot see the bottom row of letters. The entire interface is completely screwed up! The user names and scores are at the top; if I try to chat, the conversation is off the screen to the far right and not visible; the word and point value of the word played does not display...it's just a mess! I can't get in touch with Zynga or Le Pan's manufacturer to help me try to resolve these issues. I would love to play the game if only it would install correctly on my Le Pan II tablet!

I quit playing a while back due to forced quits & lost games. I recently started playing again, only to be frustrated by the same problems and "corrupt data" messages. I also really hate the word-o-meter ads that get in the way when I'm playing. Paying for features that tell you what tiles remain seems like cheating to me. And if you can't figure out how many points your word is or are too lazy to count the points then just don't play. Oh! And lastly, they allow way too many crazy words. C'mon now!

This is a great game to play with your friends, but I'm having problems with the extras. I bought Word-o-meter, but it still shows up as $299 when I got to their in-app store. I also purchased the no adds one and that one actually works as says "got it." In the store, the Tile Pile is listed as $.99 but when I click on it, the Google Play screen that says shows your credit card and the Accept and Buy button lists it as $2.99. Something is wrong. Also, Word-o-meter doesn't seem to work. I hit it and it just turns a different color but nothing else happens...

My phone works smoothly with this app. Never had any troubles downloading this game or had any crashes or failures. This game is also highly addictive and kills time when you're on the go or waiting on and long appointments. I would recommend this app for everyone. (This app may work perfectly for me but may not for you) but it wouldn't hurt to try. The ads may be annoying at times but lets be realistic, the majority of free games comes with a prices. Enjoy people!

I find it annoying when I try to play a word that I know for a fact is in the dictionary and the game tells me its not a word. As someone who is addicted to learning this is an awesome app for me to play with friends. Not only have I learned a few new words from playing but have taught others new words as well. The only thing else I wish is that you could use certain words from medical terminology here. For a free game overall this is awesome.

The wife and I play all the time and love this game. #1.We sometimes will prePlay a word while waiting for our turn. What would be nice is to color or mark the word that has not been accepted yet so you can find it again without having to recall it. #2. Quite a few of the accepted words are questionable, maybe load the database with standard dictionaries. After the recent upgrade to ICS 4.0.3, the program lags and hangs up whenever I change screens.

This game is fast superior to any other word game. You can play up to 20 games at once, you can play at your leisure nds it's free without tons of adds getting in the way! The only thing I'd like to see is the dictionary expand-I have had it disqualify words that I know to be authentic. In the mean time, this is the hottest most addicting game. You'll love it and become a loyal fan too. I even get to at my family and friends from all over the map. Go Words!
