So horrible... Randomly shows no results, never sorts correctly, suggests the wrong places (the top suggestion for sushi was mighty-o donuts). The website and iPhone app are great. They really messed up the wp7 version.

When searching for restaurants I get no results. When I search for everything all kinds of items come up. The results are not in order according to distance, not sure what the sort order is. Not a very good app.... Additionally, in Miami no results are found..really.. *** app

The app loses its state if you ever hit back to go back to it. Or it restores state from a few days ago. Overall pretty buggy

Yelp is a nice service, but this app doesn't work.

You can't sign onto your account to rate places, check in, or bookmark. I love yelp but this app sucks. They need to make one like they have for Android. Copy the Android apps features and it will be my favorite app again

Mango is out now! PLEASE ADD MORE FUNCTIONALITY. I would even pay to have a yelp app that rivals that of iOs or Android. Get your act together! We have been patiently awaiting an update. Pictures don't even come up.. You can basically only read reviews and view addresses, hours. Sigh. The quality of this app is abysmal.

Nice to find places to eat, but the pictures don't normally load and you can't login to write your review. Needs additional features like other phones (IOS, Andriod).

It is good for looking up a place if you know the name. Not so good for detailed searches. Would be great if they added bookmarks and connectivity to the Yelp.com website.

THis app is a mere shell of one. The Yelp app on other platforms is far more robust and versitile. WP7 version doesn't have features like, checkin-in, log-in, etc. It is quite frankly no better than the web version. Has not been updated in over a year. This app needs to be overhauled and brought up to par.

This app gives you limited ability to find exactly what you want.... You can get close by category.... Yelp needs to update this version to be equivilent to the iphone and droid versions

Sure, you can READ a Review, but there are other Applications which mimic that. If the Developers aren't going to actually Fix this App, then PLEASE change the *** Name to Yellow Pages Pt 2. This app needs to update!! I would like be able to do the same things as the actual web site. I cant post reviews unless I go to the page it self. Don't bother. App doesn't allow you to choose where to search. Pages are cut off and hard to click see more. When no results found, no way to change search options without going back and starting over.

This app is almost unusable. Half the time the GPS location doesn't update properly, so you'll be looking for restaurants nearby and it'll keep showing you restaurants from a distant city you were previously in. Shame on you, Yelp, for not bothering to update this app in the past year to fix the bugs.

I wish there was a way to give zero stars. This app is useless. When I select "Restaurants" it always pops up the "No results" error. And when I select "Everything" it shows me results from a location that I was at weeks ago instead of the current location. The iPhone version is awesome. Why does this version stink so bad?

This is basically yelp version of Bing local scout and is just as gimped. No ability to review, check in, login. So why should I use this and not the website?

Featureless application. Best way to describe this app is to say "Read-Only". Yelp appears to have abandoned WP development. There have only been two 2nd tier updates since its introduction when WP7 was released. This is shameful.

When it works, it's good, but most of the time, the location sensor thinks I'm in the wrong place, even when Bing maps is right. It always thinks I'm in the last place I was when I opened the app.

I REALLY liked Yelp on the iPhone but on WP7 it is horrible. Yelp, can you please make the experience similar.

Probably got useful data but the layout is broken in this app such that you tap photos and instead you get maps, at least for some stores. Other issues like photos never appearing when you can click on them make this app feel broken.

Lamest update ever. New look? Not so much. Increased functionality? Not much there either. This is as bare bones as a yelp app can get buy it seems to work a little better than the original, which went without updates for an entire year.

The app is fine for those that use it once a month for a quick search. For dedicated Yelpers, this offers you nothing. Hopefully, the wait for much desired features won't be too painful. The tools are here to make fantastic apps for Windows Phone (Cocktail Flow just off the top of my head. Sorry, had to name drop). No excuses. As of now, 1 star.
