Search giant Google unveiled a new Web-based mobile applications store for smart phones powered under its Android operating system Wednesday. The Android Market, which had only been available on Android smart phones until now, is now accessible through any Web browser. The portal allows users to easily search for and install apps that can be set up to automatically download to a user's Android device. "There's no wires, no syncing with computers. None of that sort of nonsense. Everything is connected," said Chris Yerga, Android's engineering director, according to TechCrunch. When scrolling through pictures, it's either unresponsive (doesn't move at all) or too sensitive (jumps several pics). Other apps like Trulia & Realtor don't have this problem. Searching for a specific town returns a bunch of other towns. Sort feature has no reverse option (e.g., can't sorry price high to low). Because of these issues, I use Trulia to find and alert me of listings, then use Zillow for secondary info (confirm price history & taxes).

Has lots of great features. My biggest gripe is that the foreclosures do not sort within your price range. Because they dont have a price I guess they just show all of them. Also, zillow does not do a great job of screening the entries because they allow condos, apartments, and manufactured homes to be listed as single family homes thus defeating the sort functions. All this being said, I have been in the market for a new home and have used zillow exclusively. It is a great app with a few small bugs.

Real estate app I've tried so far. Would like to see houses ive clicked on grey out similar to trulia, or an option to mark as viewed. Also a more narrow search field in pricing would help in searches. I can't select 160k for max price so i get all the 175k houses listed. Navigation needs a lot of work. The map stays static which gets confusing. The direction you're going should always point up. Also override phones screen timeout.
